large plug plants
Just to set expectations, these are likely 2cm-3cm in diameter and would be better growing on in a coldframe etc. than planting out.0 -

The offer states they will be "jumbo plugs" but I'm still unsure whether to order. I might give it a go because T & M have been quite good to me in the past for replacing the few plants that have not thrived.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

thanks just orderedIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I was tempted to order these myself but I've still got loads of plants I've grown from seed last year I'm waiting to plant out. If they're jumbo plugs they should be ok, although I'd recommend you pot them up when you get them rather than put them straight into the ground.0

If you must buy a pig in a poke, I can recommend these:

I don't grow the perennial mix, as I prefer named varieties, but I like the hardy shrubs & trees one; it's almost as good as the ones I [STRIKE]pinch[/STRIKE] collect myself.0 -
The same offer is availble on Van Meuwen (T&M Sister site) P&P is cheaper
There is also a 20% off offer code VMAFF43 ( goes in the order code box)

I ordered the Van Meuwen one as well, didn't know there was 20% off though. Pah. Still all those for £10 is pretty good!0

I had a package from T&M today and feel rather let down. I got 10 perninial plugs and 7 packs of hardy annual seeds ! That is not what I call plants worth £100.
I'm off to check the original spec. on the email offer and possibly a complaint will be on the way to T&M.0
