What is it with these litle people that fill us full of germs? I have never been so ill as I have this last 18months with 3 tiddlers in nursery/schoolwe have all been struck by the lurgey bug this last week, winter sickness flu is no fun, trying to look afer a house full of 3 vomitting, sh!tt!ng and very miserable children when you are indeed all the above yourself has to be the most horrendous task known to me.
Having vomitted so much I ended up with raging tonsilitis and a burst ear drum. Day 8 of filling like road kill and dare I say it I feel ever so slightly better. on a positive note the freezer is fit too bursting still as no one feels like eating :rotfl:

I was ''involuntarily'' signed up on the Tesco clubcard deal [I only asked for further information to be sent to me] from my brilliant supplier BRITISH GAS which had me on a favorable tariff AND had a dedicated team for vulnerable and disabled customers AND THE BG Charitable fund which we could have applied for when the cancer took hold and my son had his amputations and cannot work... ALL THIS was denied me when I was illegally swapped to EON
NOW the bar steward s have taken my Clubcard points and I am in Massive Energy Debit becasue I was recently forced to pay a 800 up front or be cut off and AND Change the tariff
EON OWE ME big time I think I will sue it needs:mad: to be gotten out there that they will rip you off after coming on all nice and caring
They owe me at least 1000 clubcard points an apology and help with my debit
bet you they wont reply OR Be honest and sort it...0 -
:j. :j:j I am still breathing...... Just about :rotfl:
We are plodding along, nothing seems to change
School holidays of to a good start today when the boiler spontaneously poured water everywhere out the bottom and through the kitchen ceiling :eek: boiler cover is the one good thing our landlord does have but we are awaiting 2 parts so will be with out heating and hot water until Thursdaylooks like we will be all sleeping in the living room on a indoor camping adventure for the next few days huddled around the oil filled radiators we have for back up :rotfl: at least it's a cheap adventure :rotfl::rotfl:
Mr Hinge has had some bank charges refunded from the last few years which cleared his over draft :money: he is not on my Dmp and is determined to do this his way..... Hey as long as the debt goes I don't care
We are currently looking at rehoming the remaining 3 bunnies we have, Superman has lost all interest in them and it is becoming another task to juggle in the daily hustle and bustle of the Hinge house, with pet plan, food, and insurance they are costing us about £55 a monthand it is a expense we really could do with not having. I feel really disheartened that it has come to this but know we could easily have 3 long weekend camping trips with the money saved and the R&R would be most welcome.
Lots of "cheap" days out this week, I have cinema tickets booked for kids club and with Supermans CEA card it works out about £5 for us all, if we take Aldi snacks and their drinks bottles with squash in that will be a cheap morning :T:T
we have a local steam train event to go to on Thursday and at a reduced rate of £10 per family with a picnic lunch we can stretch to that and Little Hinge's will love it!
I have £70 in tesco days out vouchers so again that should pay us entry for 3-4 places but may save these for the dreaded summer holidays :rotfl:
How is everyone?
Stripes are in prepared for holiday battle? :rotfl:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

 to the boiler but :j to the indoor camping adventure! It'll maybe be a tight squeeze but it'll be all the more cosy too!!mary_hinge wrote: »Mr Hinge has had some bank charges refunded from the last few years which cleared his over draft :money: he is not on my Dmp and is determined to do this his way..... Brilliant
Sounds like a busy (and cheap!) week aheadSeems like ages since I've been to the cinema. Time we dragged ourselves back! OH probably reluctant though. He bought a TV series box set. We're 11 episodes in on series 1 and I've fallen asleep during at least 3 of them

 to boiler hope it's all fixed now.
Plodding along here trying to avoid trouble
Have a nosey neighbour behind us who keep peering over the fence. Our fence is on a slope so altogether his head is 12ft above ground on our side, hope the fence doesn't give way when he's leaning on it! Thinking of planting an extremely tall tree or squirting him with a water pistol
Coughs and colds and Mr Stripes has man flu
Sad about the bunnies Mrs Hinge but it'll save you lots of money until Superman has an OCD on something else.
The King is well and demanding but getting very frustrated when I can't mind read  Hard to explain that one
Sorry for dull read Mrs Hinge the coughs and colds are a drag!
What's the plans for half term?0 -
