:j DLA mission impossible so well done
The audiology test was a disaster:eek: The King was anxious already as his routine was broken how can this test go wrong, he has been 4 times in the past 2 years, it's just routine, his hearing is fine, he can hear me open a can of coke when he's upstairs.
It was a different lady and the test not suited for him. She wanted him to wear headphones  listen to instructions and put things in a boat, really! What's the point of his notes in his file. After I said a big fat NO, She wanted to refer him to a specialised test......big hospital......lengthier test.....can of worms.I don't think so :rotfl:
I apologised for being rude and obnoxious first then refused to let her do anymore testing , refused the referral and requested to refer back to the previous Specialist and apologised more for being blunt. For the record not at one point did I say she was c*** or was too stubborn to listen to my advice

Hope the king is not too traumatised by her ignorance!
Battle won over DLA next on the list is a laptop for school use for miss Hinge.... School requested one and the ICT folk won't even assess her.... Wrong choicethey will wish they never utter the words not eligible when I'm done!!
Wheelchair arrived yesterday for miss Hinge along with very mixed emotions. Although with the cold weather and frost I'm sure it is a blessing having carried all 35kg of her to the car, to the house, up 2 flights of stairs and in reverse several times this week already! Mu back is broken

Ouch to your back  but hey you'll have beefy arms like me
carrying the King when he is in a mood, I feel your pain.
Bad luck comes in threes, the King has a small cut on the side of his head  no courtesy call from school, just in his notes so I can't request an explanation until Monday.....clever timing to avoid the Stripey wrath :rotfl: To add more spice the King has a fever tonight, getting to take some cal pol took an hour and was so much fun  Good note the King cried out 'bad mummmmmm' when coercing to take the medicine :T
All fun and games with ICT next week then Mrs Hinge :rotfl: let battle commence!0 -
3rd night shift in as many days  overtime always seems a good idea until you have to actually do it!!
Thank you stripes mummy warrior indeed is one to be aware off :rotfl: and although miss hinge has been awarded Dla it is way less then she should of been award so battle not completely won after all  they think that she is classed as been fully mobile as she has a wheelchair
Don't get me started on ICT..... I can hear their bones still shaking nowLiving in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Sometimes I wonder who reads the Dla or do they read it at all :rotfl: filling all those pages highlighting your own child's inability to function normally is as much fun as plucking Mr Stripes nose hair
I would say get some sleep Mrs Hinge after all those shifts but Superman has other ideas :rotfl:
The King has had a dry cough all weekend and has decided to break out in Hives last night :T. I Stripey will never complain about the quiet times and if I do you may all throw paper darts at me
Have a lovely day Mrs Hinge x0
