  • Hiya, your first post grabbed my attention. I have not time at the moment to read your thread in full, but will work my way through it.

I too live with Special Needs on a daily basis and work full time with Special Needs.

I'm always here for a chat or a moan "subscribed" and I will catch up in my coffee slots

Tips would be great. I always ask lots of questions to parents and professionals, the more experience the better. It's a long ride

Another start of the school week Mrs Hinge:rotfl: the King is still awake after a 3 hour nap. He seemed quiet and distracted, thought he was unwell, however after food he is buzzing. It's going to be a looooooonnnnnnngggggg night

Over the holidays the King said 'shut up' after I told him not to do something, non verbal my a**! :rotfl:

 Mrs Hinge to a rotten day, tomorrow will be better :p

The King finally slept, it was just after midnight then up at 6

He was happy to go to school, thankfully but some tears in the afternoon. You'd think he would be tired tonight  Not too bad 9.30pm tonight after continuous running up and down the landing starkers........what a sight:D

Had a few hours zzzzz then Missy Stripes woke up coughing and was so distressed she fought her pillow, then the duvet, refused to be consoled, growled then rolled over and promptly back to nod nod land.

Of course now I can't get back too sleep :rotfl:
  • Hiya, I am on night shift. I have worked permanent nights for 12 yrs now.

I work with Downs, Autism and none specific Special Needs.

You and Stripes, both have your hands full :A. I am no expert but happy to chat along and get to know you's
