  • Scotsman, we lost our boxer Wilma September last year. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her, I have her ashes in a ginger pot that has a bright red sun on it, because that's what she was, our little ray of sunshine. I can't bear to part with them, or think of her outside in the cold during winter, so the ashes will stay put. She was the forth boxer I had and she was the 'one', I have deeply loved all my baby boxers but Wilma had that special something.

In January we got our new boxer pup Marnie. She is a bundle of teeth and naughtiness, but I love her. She is now twelve weeks old and we can take her out for walks. Everyone we see stops to tickle Marnie and she just laps it up. Will Marnie be 'special'? Frankly I don't care she has helped to heal the loss of Wilma and that takes some doing in my book.
