I was quite successful on ebay a while ago with selling some of my crafts. So I have been sorting through my craft bits n bobs (theres quite a bit) and decided to do some more. I am not looking to make a living, just cover the cost of my materials, postage and a bit for the pot, no matter how small. Materials are just lying there, money spent and gone, so may as well try and get something back. My pay-pal Ac stands at £11 at the moment, see if i can boost it a bit for Christmas. Christmas, now theres a thought, money tight so must get organized and sort out, who and how much.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

I have bought milk on the way home from work 90p and I need to get bread £1 ? later. That is all I am planning spending today. I will have to get petrol tomorrow but can only put £5 in and I will walk to work and back, its only a 20min walk and I take the car  shocking.
I have two things to list on Ebay today. Today and tomorrows meals planned.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

You are doing very well MWNM - my motivation is rock bottom at moment - post Olympic blues, weather that cant make its mind up and the prospect of returning to work in 2 weeks to I know not what! Have been doing some decluttering and that seems to be good for the soul!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hiya Igomogam, its probably the thought of not knowing what your going into that has you down. Once back at work you will know where you are and begin to get sorted again. I need to get back on the de-clutter trail. I was doing well, then as usual stopped along with everything else I was keeping and eye on. I have to post regularly to keep motivated.
I have not spent any of my £4 yet :j, managed to rustle tea up out of the cupboard/freezer. I am very lucky that DH is not a big or fussy eater. He will eat almost anything I put down to him or he will rake about and rustle up something. He has never been a "where/whats for tea" kinda guy. He excepts what he gets. Which is a huge help.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

being on hol from work has ruined my budget.can't wait to start my new job 3rd sept and get back on the wagon!
keep up the good work, any job news?LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
Asparagus, no job news I'm afraid.
Being on holiday does throw a spanner in the works, budget or not. I am going to Amsterdam on Friday, return Monday (it was booked and paid for a ages ago, in a moment of none MSE) But now I find I do not want tot go ? probably because I have my MSE head on at the moment :money:. Meals are included, so only spending money needed. I am going to get 50 euros and do my level best to stay in budget. I am not bringing presents back or buying more rubbish tat or clothes, I have lots n lots of clothes (most of which do not fit, thats another thing I'm tackling). So all should be well ???
I have 75p left out of my £4, all meals sorted, petrol in the car, not a lot but it will last. So ok till payday. Pray for no emergencies, and I will have made it too pay-day.

Enjoy Amsterdam MWNM. Went for a 3 day break with DD - (9 years ago now!). Did lots of sightseeing without having to spend much - just as well .... we did'nt have much to spend.
Having "important meeting" about the future of our library service in 2 weeks time. Trying not to worry ... failing! The good news - 2nd grandchild due in March.0 -

Adrisco, do you work at the Library ? If so Il have everything crossed that all goes well. Good news on the coming arrival on 2nd grandchild, I love to have mine BUT sometimes its a strain on my spare cash. We do try to do a lot of free and outdoor stuff.
Hope al goes wellProvident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

Payday tomorrow :j:j:j, nothing to do but wait.
I have a couple of ideas for this month. 1 look at having some NSD's and 2 get DH involved in home finances. He is a very good DH but leaves all money matters to me (not always a good idea), Things just get paid. I think its about time he took some responsibility for this or shared it with me. I wont throw him in at the deep end, but lower him in gently :rotfl:. First its the petrol, Tomorrow I am going to give him petrol money for 4 weeks ( I get paid 4 weekly) and he can deal with that. When its gone its gone. I can walk to work, 20 minute walk and DH has his bus pass if needs be.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j
