Phones4u porting to O2

However I've just called p4u and they tell me that this clause isn't valid and they know they can't stop me porting, so the cashback won't be an issue, so am not too worried. They won't send me anything in writing or email confirming this though so am considering complaining to their head office or ofcom - does anyone think this is worthwhile, or shall I just trust what I've been told (I've got the name of the person I spoke to, and a reference number and she says she's put a note on my file).

Don't worry about the number on the claim form and the number on the bill. That doesn't matter in the cases of number ports such as yours so you have nothing to worry about.
