I will get round anyone I think will hold me up as soon as possible - P plates are a badge that allows me to spot someone who's likely to hold me up.
What a moronic attitude.
Go speeding to "get round" me or perform any other dangerous or illegal manoeuvre and I'll happily shop you to Mr Plod and give him the video evidence to prosecute you.
My safety is worth far more than your time.0 -

He's the kind of guy who would intimate the new driver who crashes into him because there brakes are sh*t and he's forced back onto his side of the road due to on coming traffic.
On one of the stretches of road I drive on now there are always cars trying to over take lorries, and there are quite a few accidents. Luckily in these cases the car driver always comes out worse.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I'm very disappointed at some of the adverse reactions to P plates. Whenever I see a car with them, it indicates that I ought to give them an even wider berth than any other driver. The same goes for L plates, blue LEDs and/or large exhaust pipes, taxi signs ...
PS. When my now ex-wife got her new car, I got her a pair, and wrote "CAR, OLD" in between the "NEW DRIVER".The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Besides which, nine times out of ten that moron who just carried out a dangerous undertaking maneovre to get past me will still stop at the same red lights I do.
Hilarious how risking everyone's safety makes them feel like they're going faster, when they'll actually be lucky to save a few seconds by it.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

What on earth are you suggesting?
Do you really think that the roads are a place to exercise common sense???? It's people like you who give us good drivers in our 150mph cars such a hard time when we're getting on with our important lives.
Bloody plebs!0 -

Oh, it is if it's compromised. D'you reckon saving 23 seconds on your car journey will seem worthwhile when you're facing the courts for causing death by dangerous driving?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
