Hello everyone! I'm now fully caught up with the thread after being away on holiday - I don't think I was missed :D We missed the cherry blossom, it all came out and finished while we were away, but the little apple tree is covered. There were lots of flowers on holiday though so we didn't completely lack for flora.

Nothing has happened on the house, the market is still pretty dead here. Looks like we'll have to move on to Plan B, whatever that is. And there are more changes at work but I'll just have to deal with those for now.

    Hugs to all xx

Hi Alex... ooo holidays anywhere nice???

is it worth putting your house into auction?? that it will find its level so to speak. Plus the completion normally takes 1 month, and once that hammer goes down, that's it there is go pulling out etc ... that way at least you are not hanging on waiting.

Well dentist again today... getting pain in the tooth that was next to the one that got pulled out now:o, I expected, some aches etc, as the teeth move a bit, but this is pain...

Its our wedding anniversary today too... 19 years of marriage bliss:eek::rotfl::rotfl: well almost...hubby might call it a life sentence:D

still cant get over that they have forecasted snow in some areas...keep thinking I imagined it..

Happy anniversary CTC and OH

Well, the rain has started, indoor work only as its forecast to be bad today

The jostaberry has lots of fruitlets so either they were wind pollinated or there were more insects about than I saw. Those few warm days seem like a distant memory, heating has been on again. Best temperature yesterday was 11C early afternoon, but strong winds made it feel chill.

    Roll on summer!

Happy Anniversary, Mr & Mrs CTC
Hope you soon beat the toothache. It's miserable.

Let's hear more about your hols, Alex.

The rain started during the night but has currently eased off into drizzle. The nasty band is due through this afternoon sometime.
The nearest weather station gave the temperature as 7.5C at 10am _pale_
Any sunshine for me today looks to be what I may get from seeing it on the TV screen.

Welcome back alex, of course you were missed!! Fingers crossed for the housing market picking up where you are. And where itsme is too.

Happy Anniversary CTC ~ it's 19 years for us this year too. Hope the dentist gets to the root (;) groan) of the problem & you are soon pain-free.

Rhiw, what will you do with the jostaberries?? I have no idea what they are :o

Beautiful sunshine here BUT it's so cold!! I got caught out by a shower earlier & it was icy cold with the wind too. lir, I think you should definitely have words with the weather, see what it thinks it's playing at :D

    Thanks pink poppy.

I think Alex' part of the world is likely to pick up long before ours.

All that seems to be happening around here is that more people have decided they want to move (one unifying reason being the weather - wonder why? ;) ) so they're just adding to the number of properties sitting on the market.
We won't put ours back on until we see some movement. I can only see negatives in leaving a property up for sale for years on end nor is it worthwhile to do so when there are so many others for sale. There are already a great many of both about.
It's frustrating (not to say depressing given associated health problems) but that's the way it is, unfortunately.

I've been watching one really peed off pheasant (male but censor won't let me type the proper description) wandering around one of the fields. They really do have a way of showing how fed up they feel when they get soaking wet :rotfl:
