Not much to report here. We tried to sow some grass seed yesterday, but were rained-off, so I spent the rest of the time in the polytunnel.

Should get the rest of the seed down today on the area that's destined to be another chicken orchard....so it doesn't need to be too special! ;)

Do foxes always carp in the same place? I have found a few metres of hedge where there's many piles of rather runny poo, and it's obvious where the animal is going under the stock fence for access.

Or could it be badger?

Could be anything that follows the same route repeatedly, Dave.
If you want to know what it is you could always look up the evidence online. Whatever turns you on :rotfl:

Yes, it's still cold, CTC. :( We had the heater on in the room we were using yesterday evening. I refuse to have the CH on through the whole house in mid-May.

Hehe, so far our lovely land seems to be producing foxes, plenty badgers and, this morning I went on my run through our field of beautiful buttercups teeming with cabbage white butterflies, flitting and flirting. It's funny how when you move to the country, you see all this wonderful wildlife from a slightly different perspective :rotfl:

Further to the half a month of rain link. It's changed. The headline now reads "Rain and possible snow forecast for Devon as weather warning is issued"

Only one thing to say to our weather. Avin' a larf, ain't ya?

Snow, possible frosts, yet a mile away there's a lovely field of oilseed rape in full blossom.

Tomorrow is a preview day so will be inside or in the car, there's always plenty to do when the weather is iffy!

Had to chuck nearly all of the indoor seed trays, but at least the ones direct sown are starting to come up and the first asparagus shoots are emerging :j

Today we had rain/hail/snow storms on and off throughout the day, it was foul weather and I am soooooo tired of it now! Dry and bright atm and I am trying to convince myself to get my wellies on and go down and water the greenhouse.

I really have had it with the weather, I mean to give it a piece of my mind. Do you think it will help? I think we have a clear day this week and another on Saturday.

I know that feeling, I keep looking around my home and seeing pound signs floating above everything :rotfl:
