Found the money.

It was a bit scary, because after I'd sent over enough to buy about 8 acres yesterday, I logged on to our business email tonight and found a nice message from the bank which had been there for 24 hours. In it, they expressly mentioned that I should not send money in the way I'd done it, and especially not by chucking a pound across to see if it worked!:rotfl: This was because, "Only one one payment into this account is permitted..."

Oh dear!

Anyway, they're fibbing. I just logged on to the new account again and all 5 payments are in there! Weren't going to turn that down, were they?

Ah... Sad....but not so sad as a 4-legged loss.

Our young Rhode Island coc kerels are going back to the farm from whence they came next week. The lady there doesn't bump them off though, she just lets them live in a barn and free range in a big field until they....er... disappear.:)
