Me too. We had guests again today; the last ones for a while... hopefully.

After they left, I just kinda collapsed for the rest of the afternoon, and I didn't go into the garden to water until after 8pm. :o

    Loads of things need attention.....:(

It will be nice to get your hand back. :)

I was going to ask how your hand is doing Alfie?

the thing is with this weather it goes from one extreme to another... it was only last week or the week before it was quite cold, and now its too hot to work:rotfl:

I found things that were ending on sunday didnt go for much except a cc41 item..havent got anything new listed, they are just re-lists..

Might have a rummage and see what 'vintage summer things i can put:rotfl: on fleabay...

Might go and give the old knotweed a spray of weedkiller tonight..

Hubby had his wicked way with me, well what i mean is he managed to get his way and i have ordered a pig ark:rotfl: it should be arriving on thursday... we will assemble it the weekend, so then people who walk their dogs on the footpath will know what is going there...

Will order the galv drinker once the stragglers on fleabay have paid..

Just back from Ross-on-wye after a night away. Temp 29/30C so am part melted, especially after sitting in an auction room for a few hours. But had time for the odd bevy by the river and a nice evening meal.

We like to buy quirkyish, but when we got home that was surpassed when we found Alf's parcel waiting. :T:T:T

Now there's quirky for you, dont know where Alf gets her stuff !

    Thanks Alf!!

    Great fun!! :D

So have I, but only because they had blight. Had 28lbs, which was far more than I expected, given that they were only in the ground a short time. :) All the haulms are gone, far away....

It was the local town Fayre today. DW was intent on forcing me to walk there, but we only went 200m (downhill) and someone picked us up.:rotfl:
It was the same on the way home, though that time we went 400m (still downhill!):D

The contractor baled the hay today too. 28 big bales, which is down on last year, but Pete says the quality's better.

    Where's Rummer?????

Still totally knackered from weekend and journey home. We ended up taking 2 days travelling back as it was doing my back in and we had a bit of a near miss on the motorway too. So stopped off at the Travelodge at Frankley, bit South of Brum. Surprisingly nice, lovely receptionists, comfy bed, disabled friendly bathroom. (we did ask for a disabled room)

Got home about lunchtime on Tuesday, OH mowed the lawn and I just collapsed in a heap. :o:) Yesterday we spent most of the day researching care homes. :( OH's Mum fell and broke her wrist 3 weeks ago and now the hospital wants her bed back. She's still in a plaster cast, so can't manage back at her flat yet so is going into a care home where they will arrange for her to have a rehab plan etc... Dealing with Wirral Social Services is a %^&*£$$^&*&) nightmare. And most of the homes don't have vacancies. Well, we currently have a shortlist of 2, but both need top up fees of around £150 a week. Have 3 more we need to phone up to check out today if OH is up for it.

Went to visit MiL last night, we were both so tired when we got back we skipped meal (OH too knackered to cook and me too tired to eat) and I had G&T and OH some cider he brought back from Devon. Been grey and overcast ever since we got home, had drizzle yesterday, and so far a sprinkling of rain this morning. I wanna go back to Port Eliot! :rotfl:
