    Alfie,

Don't wash your hair, Get a firend to do it, or blag a cheap wash at a hairdressers. Your hair is so beautiful and you doubtless need to keep that dressing dry!

admitadly the bathroom is a tad wet ....in the wrong places ie the ceiling and walls...:o ......... i used the shower tap and i now remember it resembles a snake when you let it go...:rotfl:

Now the ordeal is over, here's hoping the results will be good news too, lir. :)

A speedy recovery to all others who are also under the weather at present, including Fudge. He probably isn't much affected by the gloom, but I bet the rest of you will start to perk up as the better weather kicks in at the weekend.

Sounds like you are interpreting doctor's orders very broadly, alfie, but I know how it is.... Ran after a bus directly after a certain 'man operation' and regretted it, so the voice of experience here says, TAKE IT [STRIKE]EASY[/STRIKE] STEADY! (I realised the first word I used would be asking too much!)

Lucielle, I feel your pain. Our faithful jalopy is making noises and must be replaced PDQ. Meanwhile, the van needs a service, some work and an MoT....just so that we can sell it. :(

On a positive note, I managed to shave £180 off our next home insurance quote, simply by remembering we have no nursery or outside events to cover. :D

Agree that my new SiL is a good looking guy. He's keen to eat ethically-produced food and spends a lot of time finding & sampling local fare while down here. Makes me wild that he can maintain that slim figure on scrumpy, real ale, Devon red beef and ancient cheeses. Anyway, he's got my DD interested in growing stuff, to the extent that they now have an allotment; something I thought I'd never see!!:rotfl:

iv just been asked AGAIN by the BAY if my items im selling are genuine  i can understand what with the frauds etc but this is the 4th time....

ive nearly hit the 4 figures....:j
and only one mix up of sizing but was sorted..:D

Cheers Itsme, much appreciated, not much value there then!

Its not raining here yet, though still grey and cool.

Will try to get garden going again after two months rain and wind battering, plastic flowers?

The garden, btw, is an utter mess.

We had the blue stuff yesterday and back to rain overnight. Dry now but still overcast.

I cannot believe that we are predicted three dry days this weekend. Need to garden but have to bee-keep as well.

Our new colony (from a swarm this year) has swarmed twice in the last few days. That should not happen. Sorted now but we need to check the other colonies.

The good news is that the colony that was queen-less have responded to our attempts to re-queen them and have a laying queen.:j

The bad news is that the fiesty lot are as fiesty as ever. Really need to double glove and make sure no one is around when we go into them.

So I am currently hosting a virgin queen who hatched from the swarming colony yesterday in my back bedroom (in a container in a sock to keep her and her chums happy) and we are going to try and raise a colony with this queen. Then we will give her all the brood from the fiesty lot to raise to boost her production of new calmer bees.

    We hope.......................:)
