WTC and CTC go hand in hand for calculation purposes, getting some of the WTC elements changes the cut-off figure for CTC.
Childcare vouchers are nothing to do with tax credits. There is a childcare element of WTC, and again if you claim that, the figure where your CTC runs-out will be different. Zagfles and the others are correct.

About £95pw0 -
Can anyone help me please,
2011/12 joint income was 19.5k, we have 1 child and work 38 and 20 hours.
We have no childcare costs.
We currently get no WTC and recieve 48pound pw.
2012/2013 joint income predicted to remain the same, still with no childcare costs. Will our figures be changing at all if our situation remains the same as last tax year?
Should stay about £48pw0 -

Yes, the child element increases £135pa (£2.60pw). See http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/taxcredits.htm0 -
We have a similar situation to the OP's sister.
I wonder if someone could kindly could a question I am unclear on??
I work 40 hours a week. My wife stays at home and looks after the children.
We have 3 children under 5 years old.
We have no child care costs.
No disabilities.
Could i check the maximum I can earn and still receive tax credits for 2012-2013?
Am I correct in saying it is £38,399?0 -
