You are always welcome to come clean my house once you've finished yours lol!

Have you ever thought about shopping in our local farmers market? I went today and as you will read in my diary made a saving of £25! If I can do that every week its a saving of £1,200 a year!!! I usually shop at Ts too and todays shop was a comparison to our usual weekly shop there so worth thinking about!

    Enjoy your cleaning!

Definitely not enjoying my cleaning it just seems to be never ending and I won't even mention my ironing I swear it couldn't all be ours!

Weeclick our local market is on a Thursday which at the minute, I'm working for the next couple. But I will definitley keep it in mind my top up shop at the end of the week seems to be nearly the same cost as my big shop at the start of the month and with less in my trolley! :( That's great you made a saving at yours and of course supporting our local farmers which is always good :)

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for tonights lotto - always an optimist! :)

I dont know how far away you are from Belfast but if you are close or ever in the area at the weekend check out st georges as this is where I was today and well worth the venture. like you say its lovely to support local farmers and other small businesses and you know exactly where the food has come from which is all just an added bonus by saving cash too - amazing wha can happen when you cut out the middle man!

I'm about 40 minutes from Belfast so not a huge drive I love St Georges' at Christmas but never manage to make it down any other time! Really should get organised and give it a go one weekend your right weeclick its good to know where everythings come home.

Well I didn't win the lotto lol ah well there's always Wednesday:)

I have to head to Ts to get lunch stuff for the week hoping for no more than £20 there, but on a good note 2 of my ebay listings have bids :D which is great but the buyer I'm waiting to pay still hasn't and hasn't been in contact to explain why grrr i might just have to cancel the transaction.

Have a good Sunday everyone :)

If you can make the trip its worth the savings - even if you buy a fortnights worth and freeze stuff! I woke up this morning with extras for brekkie I didnt know where to start lol!

Well done on the ebay items - it really helps doesnt it? and gives your mood a wee boost too which is nice. Have you ever tried selling on FB? Just do a search for Buy and sell *and the name of your town or city* most places now have a buy and sell group! I did this just before christmas and made around £200 for myself and similar amount for my mum which really helped pay for gifts etc. Plus the added bonus of no charges for putting items up, and you can put as many up as you want!

I have an album on one group at the minute with nearly 200 items on it, choose a price and if people are interested choose a day and time that suits you for them to call and collect so 100% pure profit as theres no postage involved either!!

Enjoy your Sunday and make sure you dont go over your £20 limit!!

Spent £23 today in Ts slightly over my £20 budget lol! I've updated my sig and I'm getting closer to that £280 target for this month but at least no take outs or anything this month so far.

Weeclick I am an ebay addict lol! It has really helped out the last year or two and I'm still amazed at what will sell! And totally addicted I must check 10 times a day on listings:) Will have a look into the FB pages I didn't know there were ones like that so will have a wee nosey at them thanks for the tip:)

Hope the extra £3 was worth it lol. I always go in with the plan of spending X amount and spend probably 3 times it haha!

I used to be like you with ebay, my work mates used to take the mick out of me cos the first thing I did at breaks and lunch was check my account and when the value had went up I would have a big cheesey grin lol. Do look into the FB ones though - even if your local area doesnt do one (which Im sure they do) Belfast has quite a few and you could always tie it in with a shop or another errand to save petrol. I did this with the Ards one as I used to shop at the farm shop there and would meet people with sold items in the carpark before shopping and so in effec the items covered the cost of our shopping each week! The excitment really builds up when theres no fees to pay and you know its all pure profit in your pocket and better still you can bump your add to the top every 24 hours so your chances are really good - Ive probably sold about 200 items already! As much as I love ebay I only use it for "rare" items now :D

hey Weeclick glad the FB pages seem to work well for you - my ohs big into his photography - its an expensive hobby lol!

On the plus side today my electric bill was in fact a huge £4.00! So transferred the surplus £100 into holiday savings :) so we're half way there!:D Although in reality I still have to pay for the rental on the apartment £150 and also transfers not sure how much this is going to come in so probably need an extra £300 on top of the £1000 that I was hoping to save. But still was chuffed about the leccy bill I don't get too many like that!

Worked out I can do extra hours up until 2nd week in April which is great giving us a little extra for a few weeks. Hoping to stay clear of the overdraft. Really need to start some sort of emergency fund might have to look into opening a few more accounts.

Not much else going on - hope everyones had a good start to their week!

great going on the electric bill! We never get little surprises like that as we are on the top up system but I bet its great knowing money that otherwise you wouldnt see again is being used for something a little more fun!!

Photography certainly is expensive, its scary how much even as a professional - the amount of training courses you have to do etc just to stay on top is unreal, its a shame a bride never thinks like that though ;) all worth it in the end really!

Not to much going on today - updated my sig had to add £30 to gifts for mother's day pressies. Shouldn't have any more gifts for this month although June is a massive birthday month for us so am going to try and get as many as I can sorted in April & May.

Ebay going well which is good - every little helps:)
