I think on the WB models it states that for the 7 year warranty to be in effect the service "has" to be done annually by a "worcester accredited" RGI and not just any RGI.
that is only if it was fitted by a WB accredited installer as they get an additional 2 yrs warrenty FOCI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

I am not sure of the exact model yet, I find that out tomorrow.
There is a site called discounted heating, this gives you an idea of the cost differences between the models.
Hoping I am being offered one of the better ones :rotfl:
Hi CelestineProphet,
Just a word of advice if I may, Worcester Bosch introduced a new range of boilers around September 2012 , there are not many differences in the new models but these are similarly priced to the old ones, so try and make sure you are being quoted for the most recent ones.0 -
Worcester Bosch, have one in our house. Excellent runner and works very well in our large house. Long guarantee and easy to get parts. Also husband is a gas engineer and would not put anything else in our house.Mortgage: Aug 12 £114,984.74 - Jun 14 £94000.00 = Total Payments £20984.74

Had a WB installed Oct.2012 by one of their approved dealers. Looked at the terms of the warranty, it states only the boiler needs to be serviced yearly by a competent gas safe engineer, does not specify someone approved by WB.0 -

yes that is the case with most of the boiler manifacturers but WB do do things differently with some of their installers, so while i ( i'm not WB accredited) would get the standard warrenty someone else may get longerI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
