Parking Eye/Roxburghe/Graham White

The letter templates are not really advised now. Ignoring with Roxburghe works and has the advantage of costing you nothing. As you probably realise Graham White (fake solicitor) is next in line, but he is simply Roxburghe in disguise.
Keep all correspondence in case you fancy suing them for harassment at the end of it.0 -

We have just received an unpaid parking notice from Roxburghe, it's for a ticket that was placed on our car, parked in our own space, with our parking permit on display, we didn't contact the ticket issuer after receiving the ticket and have now got a bill from Roxburghe.
Should I reply using one of the letter templates or just ignore it?
Advice apreciated.
Thanks
You have not got a 'bill' and you never had a parking 'ticket'. This is not a fine. Do not use the letter templates as they are old - but keep all the letters you get, in case you decide to take action against THEM later on!
You've had a speculative invoice plonked on your car for no reason - in fact if that's your space then they trespassed and you could sue them. But that's probably best saved for a little later - once you have accumulated some threatograms - and you would also have to include whoever allows the scammers onsite in any action (managing agent?). Oh, and include Roxburghe - one of our posters here took them to Court for harassment and won compensation. You could follow.
Anyway when parked in YOUR space you do not have to recognise the permit scheme that has been foisted upon residents - why do so many residents accept these schemes these days? Why should you show a permit to park in your space, it's not public highway, it's your space and you are entitled to 'peaceful enjoyment' of your property. Have a look in your lease, the right to unfettered use of a space may even be stated in there (in which case a permit scheme that includes the owned spaces, is probably in breach of the residents' leases).
Do you even have 'rogue' (completely unauthorised) parkers onsite? If not then why else is the scheme in place except to raise money for the scammers and the managing agents who probably get a bank-hander? Who gets these 'fake PCNs? Willing to bet it's residents and their visitors, delivery drivers etc. These 'parking schemes' operate as a protection racket against residents. How is that OK? Do all of you residents WANT this scheme?
All questions to raise very assertively at the next residents' meeting perhaps? If nothing else, make sure you clearly tell other residents never to pay one of these fake 'tickets'. They have as much clout as a Burger King flyer left on your car - if you failed to buy some fast food do you think Burger King could take you to Court over it?!
Have you watched the Watchdog clip and looked at the example letter-chains on the top 'sticky' thread on the forum? If not then look at that thread now 'PPC letters & threats', find your letters and watch the clip.

I've been thinking about my recent letter from Mr Sobell (of Graham White fame) and if they are indeed quoting irrelevant laws to people on them then surely they can be prosecuted for decieving people or obtaining money by menace or something similar.
What do people think about this? I'm sure that can't be legal. Can it?? :huh:0 -
It wasn't from Mr Sobell, he retired years ago and just rents his name out to Roxburghe. But as it purports to be a solicitor I am wondering what a complaint to the Law Society (or its modern day equivalent) would produce?0

I am accused of parking on a Car Park which Parking Eye, Chorley, run.
After two letters to me from tParking Eye (the second with a pretty picture of my vehicle) I received a letter from Roxburghes who now want MUCH more money from me.
After I ignored that I got a letter from 'Graham White Solicitors' (signed by Michael Sobel).
This is currently the stage I am at with it. Any advice/comments??

Well I think it's a complaint to the Solicitors' Regulatory Authority (SRA) - and they have a whole file about this according to accounts on pepipoo. Complaints have flooded in for years and no action taken. :mad:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well it's been a while since my last letter from my friend Mr. Sobell. Wondering if that's it now - no court papers or anything.0
