Parking Eye/Roxburghe/Graham White

Thought I'd start a new thread about my current dealings with these people in the hope thatr others may share their experiences and learn from each other about this particular unsavoury group of nasty, threatening bullies.

I am accused of parking on a Car Park which Parking Eye, Chorley, run.

After two letters to me from tParking Eye (the second with a pretty picture of my vehicle) I received a letter from Roxburghes who now want MUCH more money from me.

After I ignored that I got a letter from 'Graham White Solicitors' (signed by Michael Sobel).

This is currently the stage I am at with it. Any advice/comments??

Pay them sod all. Least of all any attention. Roxburghe are a bunch of paper tigers who have only ever been to court once and that was when they got sued for harassment and paid damages.

Graham White as a firm of solicitors does not exist, it is a fake. Look closely and you will see they share the same address as Roxburghe. All it is is Roxburghe using different headed paper.

Michael Sobell retired 15 years ago, but makes a small amount to supplement his pension by allowing his name to be used so as to give a veneer of authenticity.

You are being taken for a ride, all the threats get made because there is, in reality, no way in which Parking Eye's FAKE parking ticket can be legally enforced. Hence they hope you will crumble when they up the stakes. But it's all a bluff.

IGNORE everything they send you. If it's got as far as Graham White in their letter chain, then you are not far away from the last letter.

Which is the one which never arrives, as it dawns on them that you are wise to their SCAM and go away, never to return.

Then you get the 100% discount and Parking Lie get to foot the bill for trying to CON you.

Graham White is a trading name of Roxburghe, who employ "apprentices" on £2.50 an hour to pester money out of you, a bit like chuggers without the charity bit.
Michael Sobell is a figure head and silent director, who about now will be getting his warm porridge and pillars puffed up in the nursing home, by our reckoning he is 87.

as most people on here know, i have a drawer full of threat o grams from these clowns,,rox/gw, that is,my only regret is that they will not take me to court,,why?,,well most probably to expose their scamming and harassment tactics,,ignore these clowns, parking spy/lie included.

He is actually a full-blown director - in fact the only director - of Michael Sobell Ltd (albeit that in the year up to the end of June last year the company was dormant) and whilst he is some way beyond state retirement age he's only 75. His birthday was 25 November 1936. He was a director of Mindel Associates LLP but resigned and this company, too, in its last accounts showed itself as dormant.

Don't be so hard on him Vax, I don't think he does anything other than lend his name... and when you think of all the horrible things HER MAJESTY'S Government does in the name of Elizabeth Windsor....

I've started to get lots of 'unknown' missed calls which I suspect may be from our friends at Roxburghes.

I'm actually considering recording these phone calls if and when I recieve them. Does anyone think it may be worth it for our own quality and training purposes? I can certainly rig up the required technology without a problem.

This will only be of use if you are contemplating bringing a case against them for harassment. You should open the conversation by stating that the call is being recorded to be used in possible connection with Court proceedings. Most likely result, there won't be anything to record; but they may just be stupid enough to carry on and having warned them, it is admissible. If you are not planning action against them, then why bother? When "I don't owe you anything so clear off" and phone down before they get a word in edgeways usually does the job?

Have you tried googling the numbers, btw?
