Paintballing worries

Hi
We're booked to go paintballing this weekend for DD's 16th, 10 of us in total inc some of her friends.
I've just been reading that 100 paintballs isn't really enough and I wondered if anyone had been and just used the 100? Is it difficult to leave? Are you put under pressure. I can't afford to buy any more.
My tums in knots now, I thought it would be just a nice day out but now feels like it's going to be awkward and mortifying for my DD. Would you cancel? (I've paid £10 deposit
)
Thanks

If you really, really cant afford more than the 100, then you can make it stretch - you'll just have to make sure you don't hit the trigger much!
Depending on if the event is a half day or full day, you may play anywhere from 5 to 10 games. Thats 10 to 20 shots per game. Not much really.
In terms of pressure to buy more bullets, there is none - not aleast at any venue I have every been.
Chances are there will be loads of other people / groups there so no one (i.e. staff) is going to be hasseling you to buy bullets.
Everytime I've been, towards the end of the day, plenty of people sit out the last few games as they have run out of ammo.
As for leaving the venue early altogether, depending on parking arrangements, you might be blocked in but again, nothing stopping to sitting in your car.0 -
Tell whoever is going that they get 100 pellets as part of the day. If they want more they buy their own.0

100 bullets wont last an awful long time (even when I picked out every headshot
)
It's best to give them 100 for free then tell them they have to buy their own after the 100 is gone. Towards the end of the day (depending on whether you go for full or half a day) lots of people sit out due to lack of paint balls.
Have a good day, paintballing is amazing! Take some wellies or boots because the mud is deep in places!

I booked a paintball party for my son's 10th birthday. The package included 100 paintballs per child.
I also provided lunch, snacks and drinks.
They will play between 7 - 8 games in a day.
I therefore divided up the 100 paintballs into lots of 25 (roughly 3/4 of a paper cup) for the 1st 4 pre-lunch games, and got the parents to contribute £10 each, which bought another 1600 paintballs, which were then also divided up into lots of 25 for the afternoon session, plus any extras for anyone who dropped them !
None of the parents minded, as their kids were occupied for the whole day, so they had a day to themselves
Major tip - do not give the kids all their paintballs. You need to control them and dish them out in lots of 25 per game.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

I have never been paintballing but have been looking into it for my child's birthday party as well. However, I do have many concerns about this issue. I've heard of people getting welts all over their body from paintballing.... How many layers are you supposed to wear?! I don't want my kid coming home bruised all over the place... Any insight or advice would be appreciated.0

as other have suggested explain that 100 balls are included and in the invite advise how much extra ball are , Beware some deals give you an extra 100 for the last game to make you stay . look for the best deal ie if you buy 100 its 7.99 if you buy over 1000 its 6.99 per 100 etc so look at buying in bulk.
also do you have someone to stay with the bags and spare balls as these have been known to go missing as all groups go in at differnt times.
also look at what food is inc assome inc none or just pizza and no drinks . we ended up selling to the table next to us as they had nothing and i had loads you will get hungry.
also suggest people bring some gloves as these can be expinsive to buy on site.
also look around as you may find another site will refund your depoist if you go to them instead........0 -
My son went to a paintball party where the invite asked us to pay for extra paintballs rather than provide a present. No problem as it saved having to look for a present for teenage boy.0

By all means tell the parents / kids that will have to buy any extra pellets themselves - but don't leave it until they turn up on the day.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
