Thank you every one. James decline in the last week was so rapid yet she still cared for him at home until the last few hours. He so wanted to be at home and when he needed to go to hospital he was unaware of his surroundings. Her strength comes from her dad. I see me in her with different things but for this she is her fathers girl. How blessed i am to have this man as my husband and father to our 4 children. Rachel will move forward as this is her way. Thank you allNothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Sethsgran I just want to add my condolences. I followed Rachel and James' blog for the last few weeks and hoped and prayed for that lovely little family as well as often crying on reading the moving updates. I didn't comment because I just didn't know what to say. Reading the news today though I feel compelled to say how dreadfully sorry I am to hear James has lost his battle. As others have mentioned the strength of your daughter will help her through this sad time. I wish her and those lovely little boys all the strength and love in the world. And of course I wish you much strength as you help her through this sad time.

Hi everyone well all is going well here as far as clearing out their home. She continues to be strong but I expect her to have a good cry when we get home. Her local charity shop have been well blessed as she has donated so much stuff to them. Boxes of craft materials now donated but we have still selected lots to ship home. She plans to continue her craft as a means to earning when home. She talks openly to the children about daddy as she recognizes their needs.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Ooh Sethsgran I fell asleep last night thinking I must pm you in the morning then woke to find this update. Loving your new signature how very very true.
I'm sure Rachel will need a good cry when she finally stops! She must be on autopilot. And still thinking of other at this time she's incredible
And a chip off the old block as I always say such a credit to you and DH. Looks like its already rubbed off on those darling boys. Is she coming back with you to settle in the UK? Across the miles your "virtual family" are here for you all, you are never far from my thoughts and prayers. X The secret of Christmas

Thanks Nanamia. Yes she will fly home with us, managed to get them on the same flight. They will live with us until such time that she is ready and financially ready to move on. We have 4 spare bedrooms so not a problem. Thanks for all your thoughts and concern.
I chose the new signature as I felt it was perfect for the moment.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -

Well we are all safely home, landed a few days ago. The flight crew were fantastic with the boys, they had no idea of the situation until we left the plane. Immigration was a little hairy at first but quickly sorted by once again lovely people. She is so organized and already has their room sorted and her own also.
They are all unpacked, more than I can say! Her 4 yr old declared with a huge smile on his face as we walked into our home "well you didn't tell me we were coming to live here!" I know that having 2 lively little boys will be a bit of a challenge but I also know I wouldn't want them anywhere else until the time comes for them to move into their own place. As for now we will cherish the moments of all together. It has been lovely watching all 8 of our grandchildren playing together this last few days.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
