Just wondered if anyone knew where I could buy my son a Leapyear birthday card?
We got one from Clinton's last time but this year they're not doing them and none of the shops I've been too had any.
Thanks

Out of interest, Susanjane, what day does he celebrate his birthday on in a non-leap year?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

You could do your own own on Funky Pigeon or Moonpig (or similar_.....0

We always have his birthday on the 28th February.
It was going to be the 1st March up until about a couple of weeks before his first birthday, but hated the thought of not even having it in the same month. So we decided on the 28th.0 -
Will have a look on moonpig and funky pigeon as well.

See, this is what I'd do. I was talking to the OH about leapyear birthdays the other day and he plumped for the 1st March, arguing (rather convincingly I thought) that you're not actually, say, 18, on the 28th February. He said effectively you'd be breaking the law if you went out drinking or whatever. 'Officially' you're not 18 (or whatever) until on or after your birthday, not before.
I thought it was an interesting discussion, but, TBH, there wasn't an awful lot on telly that night."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
That was why we were going to originally have the 1st March, so that even in a leap year he'd have his birthday at the same time, but we do keep his birthday to the 28th even on a leapyear.
I had read on another website that he would be able to drive and drink both on the 28th Feb, but I'd never heard that before and that in the USA it was the 1st March, so no idea if that's true.0
