How much does a honeymoon cost?

Comments

  • Mine was £480 in August 2007 - that was 2 weeks s/c in a 1 bed apt in Stalis, Crete.
Might not seem like a 'paradise' location to some but for me and my hubby it was perfect :-)

We spent £20000, but we really pushed the boat out on on that and travelled round the world

Mind you, we only spent about £500 in total on the wedding. Me, hubby and the four kids were the only people there and I used my 2-4-1 vouchers at Brasserie Gerard for the wedding lunch !
  • Perhaps worth messaging 'delwynshd' as she's bought holiday to St Lucia in May (she posted her question at 1.58pm) that she no longer requires...just a thought!

  • while it wasnt a honeymoon ( ours was a 18-30 to kavos many years ago and cost 600)

but recently did 4 weeks in thailand and the maldive with kuion for 9k inc flights transfers thailand was 2 week b&b in a lovely hotel and the maldive was a jacuzzi water villa 2 week all inc

the maldives if your looking for say a jacuzzi water villa for two weeks all inc would be anything from 4500 -7000 for a 3 -4 star all inc
april i would probably choose somewhere like thailand where you can get fiver star luxury for very reasonable prices in places like krabi and phuket
long way to go for a week though
  • How exciting! It must be very fun planning for a honeymoon. A cruise is a great idea. I'll have to look into that for mine :)
