How much does a honeymoon cost?

I know, how long is a piece of string...

But I'm looking for a ballpark figure of how much a honeymoon in April (so not height of summer but not sure it makes a difference) to an all inclusive 5* beach honeymoon resort type place (Caribbean/Seychelles/etc...) for 7 nights would be.

I know I could research and find out and obviously I will, but at the moment just doing very very vague and general costings - all I want is for someone to tell me it'll be closer to ten grand than five, or closer to fifteen than ten - etc.

Thankee!

It's a bit like asking how much would a holiday cost; no in fact it exactly like asking how much a holiday would cost. You are still going to get vague answers because it depends on where it would be much better just to go on the Virgin website pick a hotel and get a quote.

I would go for one that does freebies for honeymooners myself.

Well, if someone posted to say "how much would a holiday to x for 7 nights, staying in an averagely priced hotel for x amount of people in April cost" I think it would be very possible to give them a vague ballpark figure, actually. That's all I'm really asking - a vague answer correct to the closest three grand maybe!

Just pick up a Kuoni or Virgin Worldwide brochure from your nearest Travel Agents (or order online) and you will have all the information in front of you!

i would say carribean is cheaper than indian ocean, i would say something like a week at one of the sandals resorts in the carabean for a week would probably cost arount £2000- £2500

That is a vast over-generalisation as there are far too many variables. Prices within the Caribbean vary greatly as do prices within different Indian Ocean locations!

    Ok I'll go with £4875

If you don't like a thread or think someone is asking a stupid question the best thing to do is just move on and read something else.

The reason I ask is that most honeymoon websites I have found require you to put in dates, locations, hotel choice etc to eventually get a price - I don't want to do that right now and just wanted a VERY vague idea so I knew whether to budget, say, 5 grand or 10 grand or 20. I also want an idea now, rather than waiting until after I can go somewhere and pick up a brochure or order one online and wait for it to come.

Sorry, I realise it was a stupid question for this board.
