How many competitions do you enter?

I enter somewhere in the region of 300 comps a day.
I have won 42 prizes since 1st January, giving me a hit rate of 2 to 3 prizes per week, which I would class as very good for the number I enter...
On a 'per comp' basis, I've won 42 out of c. 38,000 entries, so around 1 in every 1,000 entries, so not even 1%.
But, you know what? Those numbers don't really matter. What matters is that you enjoy comping and the idea that you might win something... If I entered for the prizes, I'd have got bored long ago, but I enter for the hobby, the 'thrill of the chase', the adrenaline rush I get every time I press the 'submit' button for a comp I really would love to win, the daydreaming about holiday prizes and looking up hotels, the beautiful tenterhooks of a 'this comp is now closed, we'll announce winners shortly' announcement, ahhhhh.
Comping. Better than the hot and sweaty stuff by a mile. Or not (if my husband's reading this).

Thank you all for taking the time to post a reply to me. I will definitely stick it out. As a busy full time Mum to two young boys, its nice to
take a little time out to try to win something that in these tough financial times would be either out of our league or bottom of the shopping list. I wish you all the best of luck in your comping and do let me know if you win!!0 -
Following on from another post I have just been reading, out of curiosity how many comps a day does everyone enter??
And furthermore what are your comping hours? I have 3 little girls and a hubby in the military so this keeps me company in the evening but I am having to be really strict with myself during the day as I could quite happy sitting on the comping forum all day and get nothing done at all lol!0 -
Days where one gets nothing done at all? Yeah - that happens!!

Depends what's on offer for amount of entries but some enter for anything and everything so could be thousands0

I am aiming for 50 a day and having about 2 wins a month. Would do more, but dont have time. Also only enter for things I really want, so dont enter for random books/DVDs or household items I would have no use for0

Excluding the dailies, id guess around 100 per day
Obviously more beginning of the month and then fridays would be extra as well with the amount of extra twitter comps :j xx

Hey all,
First post!
I was just wondering how hardcore some of you guys are. I've only just started and have entered about 100 over the last 24 hours. 0 -
