How many competitions do you enter?

  • I'm not currently working but looking for a job. I usually enter competitions from 7-11am with time taken out to get my kids fed and off to school. I only enter a few twitter or late posted comps after that time and spend the day doing housework and other stuff. Evenings and weekends are family time :)

So not working and roughly 4 hours a day x

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx
  • a few hours a day at the most as i like to play and spend time with my 9 month old. the main time i comp is at night after he has gone to bed

A couple of hours max every day, but then I only do the newly listed comps and not all the dailies...it's acceptable to the family as long as they get a share of the spoils !
It seems a better use of my time than playing games online.
Plus I work shifts so have to fit in between work, sleep, housework etc

I think it averages out at about 2 hours a day, as some days all I get chance to do is the dailies (about half an hour) whereas if I've not much else to do I can spend about 6 hours catching up!!

Normally 1-2hrs daily - work full-time so just tend to comp in the evening. Sometimes wish I there were more hours in the day that I could do them ;)
Massive thanks to all who contribute on the MSE forums, especially on grabbit and competition boards
  • Too many :o

I have only been comping for a couple of weeks and have found myself becoming quite consumed by it

I am now being really strict with myself and entering a little more selectively ;)
  • An hour in the evening (my way of winding down after work and the gym) then 2 - 3 hours per day on the weekend.
  • I do about 2 or 3 hours a day usually...until December rolls round and then it's practically 24/7!
  • Think I am addicted to comping have entered all on here that I would want to win

I do a few hours each day but have got to a stage now when I am sitting with laptop on but no comps available that I havent entered.... aaagh I must remain calm until I can get my dailies fix again tomorrow

To answer your question though I spend as long as it takes to enter everything I would like to win. I work full time and have young children so usually comp in evenings when kids in bed whilst I watch tv .... funny thing though is I dont win much but its a great hobby, keeps me busy and hey you never know a big win may just be round the corner

How many comps are you entering a day? I seem to be a bit addicted at the mo.

are you doing them daily, or catching up a couple of days a week??
