It wasn't me! An apology!

  • Wow, it's like this at every forum I've used. No one believes anyone is who they say they are, accusations of alises and trolls, and digging for evidence over some off-hand comments.
Can't we just take the apology at face value? If there is no sister, she is still apologising for the statements.
Then again, everyone loves a conspiracy theory.

Was just about to say the same thing! Well said x

    accusations of alises and trolls.
Must be going dyslexic - read that as "aliens and trolls". Appologies if I've offended any dyslexics but this is my 3-year-old writing :p
  • Little disappointed no one accused me of being an alias. Not even one person?
I do like the idea of an internet forum full of aliens and trolls. I would totally be into that!

    Money saving aliens of course.
  • It's strange they both type capital I like i

Just what I was about to say. Odd.

Oh for goodness sake it wasn't me!
I don't drink and would not use it as an excuse to be nasty, i have apologised, explained but for some clearly that is not enough, i really wish i hadn't apologised or explained and a lot less people would have seen it as now i feel not only am i being portrayed as a working mother hating nasty peice of work but also a drunk and a liar!

Don't lose any sleep over it. At the end of the day *Jeremy* you don't owe anyone anything, we are all just strangers on a message board. I used to be a regular user of another board a few years ago and I was going through a rough patch with my husband and asked for advice, everyone was saying I should just leave him and I said I don't want to go that far and they turned on me saying I was an idiot for staying with him, then my husband signed up and gave his side of the story on the same thread and everyone said it was me and I must have a "split personality" this really annoyed me at the time but looking back I should have just ignored it. Don't let it get to you its not worth it.

Regardless of whether you believe the OP or not the most useful thing to come from this thread is to remember that your ID is passworded for a reason . If you are careless enough to allow other people access to your account there may be consequences -like people changing their opinion of you, thinking you post when drunk, think you have opinions other than the ones you do....or a lot worse !

So the simple solution is -don't allow other people access and you won't embarass yourself.

(I still blame the vino though ;) )
