I now try to keep them below £10 for an easy life!
I agreed with this. I had a £19 one the other day and got marched all the way to Customer Service:eek::eek:
But then it depends on the till operator, used a £18 the next day and she scanned it without a problem.0 -

Wombled a receipt last night and when I got home to put it into the Price Checker realised it had the very last number missing.
So I entered the receipt in using all the numbers from 0 - 9.
Today checked the receipt and every number I tried had the result of the price check dispayed..
So its funny how they check these receipts...cos the time would have been different for each of the different numbers..( its the Transaction number that was missing the last digit)...0 -
Yesterdays JTD has just come in for me (approx 23hrs) not as much as I'd hoped but still £6.64

1 x CATHEDRAL CITY MATURE CHEDDAR 350G T£ 3.98 A£2.00
1 x MULLERLIGHT CHOCOLATEYOGURT 6X165G T£ 3.59 A£1.50
1 x ARIEL STAIN REMOVER BLUE POWDER 500G T £ 4.55 A£ 2.00
Also used MOC £1 Ariel (ssm-MC), £1 Cheese (Mr T), £1 Yogurts, (Mr T)
No too bad, as I also had a £14.96 DTD instore which meant I’d only forked out £7 for the whole shop 0 -
I found a way to view other customers shopping which is interesting to see other items.
When you fill in your lastest recipet just change the number 6 to the one before yours. Ie if your last number is 3254 then change it to 3253 and so on. Of course you need to wait 24 hours.
Intesting tho, 99% of them are cheaper at tesco then asda.0 -

Nice shop. I got a £1 ariel stain remover till spit this morning as well, always seem to get these“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Just found a receipt in my bag from the end of Febraury and put it in the price checker, fingers crossed.
Just wondering when Smirnoff and Southern Comfort went on offer in Asda. If it was dated today this receipt would have been a nice little JTD voucher - just have to wait and see now
Yes it worked :T Actually 3 itmes that compared so I got a £5 odd JTD voucher back today.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I'm beginning to suspect that the supermarkets are all in it together. Amazing the changes of price in Asda this week. Some items which were cheaper than Tesco when I did my "Big Monthly" shop on Tuesday of this week have gone up to the same price as Tesco or more expensive.
I did my first carefully orchestrated voucher shop at Tesco yesterday and got my JTD voucher this morning.
My results were:
TOTAL£ 28.55£ 22.81 1 x DAIRYLEA REGULAR16 TRIANGLE 280G £ 1.30 £ 1.88 1 x PORT SALUT 185G £ 1.17 £ 1.50 1 x CADBURY DAIRY MILK BUTTONS EGG 162G £ 0.83 * £ 1.00 1 x CADBURY CREME EGGS EGG 178G £ 0.84 * £ 1.00 1 x LAKE DISTRICT MATURE CHEDDAR 400G £ 3.98 £ 3.98 2 x PEPERAMI MINIS 100G £ 4.70 £ 4.70 1 x VELVET TOILET TISSUE WHITE 9 ROLL £ 3.50 £ 3.50 1 x MIKADO WHITE 70G £ 1.39 £ 0.75 1 x KELLOGGS RICE KRISPIES SQUARESROCKY ROAD 4X34G £ 1.89 £ 1.00 1 x GOODFELLA'S STONEBAKED THIN MARGHERITA 345G £ 2.68 £ 1.00 1 x GOODFELLA'S STONEBAKED THIN PEPPERONI 340G £ 2.68 £ 1.00 1 x MULLERLIGHT TOFFEE & VANILLAYOGURT 6X175G £ 3.59 £ 1.50 1 x CADBURY MINI EGGS EGG 149G £ 0.83 * N/A 1 x PLUM BABY ORG 4+ MTH PEACH & PEAR 100G £ 0.99 N/A
I didn't know that the Cadbury Mini Eggs Egg wouldn't compare, but the 3 for £2.50 deal is still good. The Plum baby food must be the only blummin flavour Asda don't stock, but, no matter, my Grand-daughter loves it.
The Velvet Loo Roll has gone DOWN in price in Asda, the Cheese has gone UP in price in Asda.
I used £1 off £4 Frozen, £1 off £4 cheese, £1 off yoghurt, I also had a "spend £30 to get £4 off" till spit from Friday, £4.51 JTD from last week, 50p off Velvet and 50p off Plum baby food from the MSE Voucher codes thread.
Sub-Total £35.37, Less Multibuy Savings (Easter Eggs) £5.00, Less vouchers, Total paid £17.86
JTD Voucher just emailed to me £ 5.74
Not a bad hours work!!! Any time I can get a £35 shop for £12.12 I'm happy. :-)0 -
