Tesco JTD deals and discussion thread

Is anyone else still waiting for a JTD back from a shop done yesterday? I am waiting for about 8:mad: They were put in on 2 different e mail addresses.
If others have had some back today does that mean that i wont be getting mine back until tomorrow or later?

I used a £10.90 JTd yesterday (I had bought 6 herbal essences to get this jtd) and when the girl scaned the voucher a message on the till said customer service had to autherise it, in the end a supervisor came over to the till and ok'ed it, is this a new thing or just in my local store?

Hello, there isnt a voucher i'm afraid, if you price check your recipt online on the tesco price check website you should be lucky and get a 50p voucher emailed back for JTD (just the difference) as the beer/Ribena is 50p cheaper in Asda

I had allready confirmed that it does price check but when i did it they were £4.50 for 2 in asda. to thanks for posting the new lower price. i've eaten 3 pizzas myself (got some before the 27th) in the last week and we have 3 in the freezer but at that price i will get 2 more boxes so 4 more pizzas to squeeze in to the freezer.

Has anyone tried using more than 1 price drop coupon for the same thing eg buying £8 of cheese and using 2 coupons. Will they accept them ?

thanks for confirming sorry wasnt trying to steal your thunder it's just we had a point raised on another thread that the 100% free ones might not compare......just wanted to confirm on here as well to make sure noone missed it

I can confirm the wine price checks favourably, you get £1.98 back making the meal deal £8.02. Unfortunately, all of my actual meal items came back as n/a. For your information I purchased -
Mains
Meatballs, chicken chasseur, chicken with ham & cheese filling.
Sides
3xpetit pois.
Desert
3xclotted cream puddings with toffee sauce.

you could try but be prepared to be refused as the coupon says only one per transaction.

Thanks, I wanted to get some edam and monterey jack , and maybe a 'jtd' cheese, so I'll put the edam/mj through on their own and the other cheese on my main bill. that'll be 3 transactions or maybe ask the sa if she wants to do 3 transactions or 1 !

When your JTD doesn't come through, i remember it being mentioned on here about changing the time to 8:24 rather than 20:24 .... when you make this change, can anyone tell me if you then have to wait until the next day for the voucher to come through again? TIA
