Yeah, I've had a look here before but tend to avoid it for the reasons you mention :)

Agreed! Sadly there is some really useful stuff in there, but I'd be divorced if I read it all! There is about 1 useful post in 20 posts of chat, so it takes ages to wade through it and I think if you've got a full time job and don't want to spend every night catching up on there, the chances are you'll miss out, so we have to make do with the stuff on the official threads. This got moved to the gone but not forgotten board, even tho it's not that at all, ho hum!

We're grateful though for anyone that passes stuff on to here! :)

Is anyone else still waiting for a JTD back from a shop done yesterday? I am waiting for about 8:mad: They were put in on 2 different e mail addresses.
If others have had some back today does that mean that i wont be getting mine back until tomorrow or later?

I used a £10.90 JTd yesterday (I had bought 6 herbal essences to get this jtd) and when the girl scaned the voucher a message on the till said customer service had to autherise it, in the end a supervisor came over to the till and ok'ed it, is this a new thing or just in my local store?
    Thanks in advance

That's because, any vouchers under £10 come up with the price automatically - you'll see it on the barcode - it'll say 1113505 for instance towards the end, so removing the check digit would mean that your voucher was for £3.50 and the £3.50 will just come up on the till.

Over £10 and it'll come up as 1119992, meaning it prompts the till to ask for the price, so those SA's who don't know all you have to do is put the price in, will query it. Quite a few I've had just say, oh what's that I'll try it as not seen a voucher like that and then would be thrown in this instance by it asking for the price. HTH

anyone using the yogurts £1 off when you spend £3 from the tesco price drop mag on mullers to get jtd aswell, been to my local this morning and they have dropped the price for the 6 packs from £3.59 to £2.00 still a bit of jtd etc but not as good as they were at full price.

Not all the 6 packs have been dropped in price. The 'special' cheesecake, and the toffee & vanilla 6 packs are still £3.59. HTH

Is the 1119992 the old bar codes? I have a £20 voucher and it has a barcode of 049997on the end whereas all the old vouchers over £10 had the same barcode and then the checkout person had to enter the voucher price.
