Do you have a link for that advert please, I can't find it?

Yes, I remember looking all over the web trying to find it back in the R&R days, to no avail :(

It would be fantastic if you would post the link - like others, I have tried numerous times over the years to find this on-line, but to no avail.
I thought that somehow Tescos had managed to erase it from all known records/archives.
Talk about trying to re-write history !!;)

I will post it when I get back home, I have a copy saved on my computer but Tesco always get Youtube to delete it when posted for "copyright".

Couldn't find the ad either, but here's a rather interesting (and fun!) article about it and how Tesco usually tried to get out of R&R, just like they do with DTD now...

That's a good one! I would have loved to be in a store then knowing the facts and a Manager tried to bully me. Ever remember the one that went something like, if you find more than one person in front of you in the queue we will endeavour to open another till for you? Now they just point you to them bloody self service things.

I quite often pop in to tescos after work to pick up a few bits and always seem to get the supervisor chasing me as I head to the till to tell me it would be quicker to go through the self service. He gets miffed when I tell him that after just finishing a 12 hour night shift, the last thing I want to do is start operating a supermarket checkout!:rotfl:
Especially when I'm the only one there and there is a checkout girl just standing there watching me swear at the bloody machine :(

Could a new thread be set up for everyone that wants to write their moans and complaints about Tesco? This thread is for Tesco misprices but seems to have been taken over by people who simply want to rubbish Tesco. I come here to find opportunities to cash in on Tesco's errors but now have to wade through loads of whining comments to find the real information.
