LOL.. @not being a granny.. covering all bases is something of a must with these people.

They never seem bothered so long as you aren't dehydrated. DS3 was once very ill with a tummy bug the others it lasted 24 hours and he kept spiking a temp and being really ill.. after 3 weeks we eventually got a doctors appt (my gp is a nightmare for appointments!!) and they prescribed him.. 1 1000mg paracetamol suppository.. which we never used for fear of overdosing him!

I do hope she picks up soon, she must be so drained from it.. Is DD1 ok and recovered from the bug yet?

Cake in oven... see.. domesticified and everyfink!

Socks paired.. DD3 and DD4 helped!

Dot dragged out of her snuggly nest and is after her second breakfast!

WM, TD on, food put away...

Best get cake out and get the baby fed (not with cake, she gets milk!)

Well DD2 is drinking lots and vegged out in front of a Harry Potter film - but she looks very run down. She had enough life to sob that she didn't want to go the doctors, moan at having to take a sample, complain that I'd ruined her life by taking her with no make up and hair that hasn't been washed since Thursday and going at a time when school had break so she was visible to fellow 6th formers......

DD1 is better than Sat and is drinking well but doesn't want to eat. I think she's scared - she retched so hard that all her muscles ached yesterday.

I am quietly going insane...... and i'm hoping to get into work tomorrow - if they'll let me...

Glad DD1 is picking up again.. the trick is to have something in your stomach at all times to bring up, it is the dry heaving that hurts we found.. and I always burst the capillaries around my eyes so have black eyes it is another to avoid bugs lol.

DD2 is not too unwell then.. they don't complain when proper poorly

Hello all, am back in after a week off. The holiday was great, but my sleeping is all over the place (crazy pregnancy dreams) and I am currently too exhausted to do much - hoping I will catch up later in the week.

hello all - I think I'm going to be somewhat sporadic in flying for a few weeks.. I am decluttering madly as the kitchen refit is booked in - this is desperate really - oven is rubbish. I am hoping to defrost FF this week though as it will be moving into the DR during the refit. I also need to scrounge (and I do mean scrounge) as much bubble wrap as poss for packing the kitchen away.

That's enough for one evening I think - I also hoovered in the living room as it was horrible! Hope everyone has had a good productive day - got a crochet shawl and blanket to finish and wash/dry - for an 8 day overdue ex colleague's baby! So sitting in front of the TV tonight I think!
