History given, urine checked - I am NOT about to become a granny!

Got to keep her on fluids, blood has been taken to check all usual things including glandular fever...

Doc wants her back on Friday, but they can't give me a Friday appt, so I have to ring up Weds and see if they can fix us up!

    Afternoon all.

I've done the kitchen/diner and also dusted the living room and hallway and vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs.

Washing on the line, it's blowing well but feels a bit chilly to me. I've had an hour's walk and cut the front grass and cut back the cotoneaster which is getting too tall.

I was OK while I was busy but now I feel quite cold.

    Hi all

Dylan's just been collected, so I can Dettox the kitchen in peace.:o

He's coming back for a 10-day stay on 16th March, so I shall look forward to that - I don't like being dogless!:D

CY well, you knew you weren't about to become a Granny, but I guess they have to follow usual protocol with these things.:o I just hope they can get to the bottom of what's wrong with the poor lass.

Dusty I hadn't forgotten about Ed; just didn't like to keep asking, assumed you'd give us news when there is some.;) I will, of course, continue sending healing vibes his way.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Have cleaned out the fridge and freezer. No nasty surprises, apart from finding I have two blocks of cheese on the go. And I've read my meters and put results on i-measure (quite good this week).

Phoned the doctor's - have had a couple of dodgy blood tests, unsure what's going on, so will see my OWN doctor in a couple of weeks. It's hard to get to see her, so I often settle for whoever has a free slot. I want to see her anyway, as yesterday I walked up a steep hill and had to keep stopping, felt so dreadful - a bit of chest pain too. (Friends told me I looked awful!)

The blood test thing's been going on for a while - three now at the doc's, two in a research project I'm involved in. Just want some answers, that's all. Had two letters on Saturday morning, one from doc's, one from hospital, both saying I need a repeat test - but they never tell you why. Having worked in the NHS, I would be able to understand OK!

Anyway, don't know why I'm telling you all all this, except that maybe it explains why I have a CLEANER! Have done so on and off since before I had my pacemaker put in, as I'm not great at finding the energy to do things.

Oh well, soldier on I say! Hope all is going as well as it can for all of you!

Have a couple more phone calls to make, then will pop in to town to take the amplifier from my hi-fi in for repair. Then I'll get home and relax and get some knitting done - plan to finish myself a pair of socks today!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

Winchelsea please don't feel you have to justify anything to us x I hope you get the answer to the bloods.

Kitchen almost done, I'll finish later. Going to do HH exercise next before the boys get home from school.

LOL.. @not being a granny.. covering all bases is something of a must with these people.

They never seem bothered so long as you aren't dehydrated. DS3 was once very ill with a tummy bug the others it lasted 24 hours and he kept spiking a temp and being really ill.. after 3 weeks we eventually got a doctors appt (my gp is a nightmare for appointments!!) and they prescribed him.. 1 1000mg paracetamol suppository.. which we never used for fear of overdosing him!

I do hope she picks up soon, she must be so drained from it.. Is DD1 ok and recovered from the bug yet?

Cake in oven... see.. domesticified and everyfink!

Socks paired.. DD3 and DD4 helped!

Dot dragged out of her snuggly nest and is after her second breakfast!

WM, TD on, food put away...

Best get cake out and get the baby fed (not with cake, she gets milk!)
