Didn't get round to the bedroom today as usually do my flying while DS is napping, and as his cot is in our room it can be a bit tricky. Other weeks I've done the list for the bedroom while he plays on the bed or in his cot, but we were out and about this afternoon so didn't get round to it. Still, I did manage to get a pile of ironing done, will try to catch up tomorrow.0

Hex, you are right , I think Moggins was 'in charge' when I started on Flylady. When was that?
mrs-moneysaver, To start a toots list go to each room in your house, have a good look around to find all those long forgotten jobs that need doing and list them
You can also list all those other jobs like fill in tax form etc. which are not specific to a particular room. I need to find mine, I think it was on my old lappie.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi!
To misquote Winnie the Pooh "I am a bear of very little brain and long words bother me (sometimes)", but could someone please explain what happened to the message I posted on here last night, some time between the ones from pigpen and julytex? I thanked juliejim and dusty for the lists and then went on to say that I'd only be able to do tomorrow's list (now today) from when I got up until 12.00 noon and then again from about 3.00 pm onwards.
What actually happened - The reason for the break between 12.00 noon and 3.00 pm is that I go to a lunch club on Tuesdays. One of the ladies that comes has health problems and where most of the people who come to the club know the others, she doesn't know anyone, apart from me as we sit at the same table. Today, she either collapsed or had a fainting fit (not quite sure which), and because of her health probs and having possibly hurt herself when she collapsed/fainted, needed to be checked over at the hospital. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't like the idea of having to go into hospital on your own (she doesn't have any family locally) so I stayed with her until the results of her tests came through which wasn't until just before 8.00 pm. Luckily, she was OK to go home.
The one thing I completely forgot was that the last bus from the hospital (which is on the other side of town from where I live) is at 8.00 pm and I don't drive, so had no choice other than to have a taxi home. Am now yawning my socks off and hoping that tomorrow will go more according to plan (Crosses fingers and touches wood) - i.e. catch up with most of this weeks list!
Good night all0 -
rebecca.. nothing in life EVER goes to plan! lol.. I hope your friend is ok and recovering well, it must have been very scary for you both.. sometimes the forum monster gets hungry and eats a post.. please don't think we don't want you
new victims to the cause are always welcome
Dot being a Grot again tonight.. I am going to feed her in a sec and go to bed and she can stay down here with OH until she needs her next feed. Squeak is asleep.. after having to be rescued from the claws of a mean blanket which was trying to devour her feet first!... She also needed a juice refill and a cuddle with DD3..
KH... truly deserving again today.. has COMPLAINED (get this!!) that I decided HIS daughters need glasses... clever aren't I?! He asked "what do they need them for?" ... erm.. to see??? cue head shaking and door closing.. Pigpen I swear I don't know how you put up with him. If it were me I'd have taken a baseball bat or some such to his head by now to try and beat some sense into him
Flying resumes properly tomorrow afternoon/evening as I will be home and I can't wait to have my own things around me rather than my mums clutter!0 -
Morning all!
Got almost nothing done yesterday - disgraceful considering we were both off work - blood tests and dentist! What with being in and out of the house, collecting dry cleaning, getting my presccription (AB's for a tooth infection I thought was a cracked filling) the time just disappeared. I'm hoping to make up a bit of ground tonight when we get in!
