I have a quiet day here today as I am waiting in for a Miele I bought on ebay to be delivered. The plan is to leave the dogs in the front room so they will let me know when the van arrives. They can't make the carpets worse than they are . And I am going to take my laptop into the kitchen with some music on while I clean.

Haha ..Sounds just like me with the dog :rotfl::rotfl:The only thing with mine is he demolishes the paper cards the delivery / post men leave so you never know what has been missed ..I have currently bought x2 mail boxes for inside the house but he has eaten these too - he truly hates the letterbox !! However if he is in the back I miss the knock at the door

I am soooooooooo tired.. the 2 teeny pinks were up until 4am and we ended up with both in our bed.. needless to say OH is still laid in bed as is Dot and I am up with everyone else with a raging sore ear again!! and maybe 5 hours in bed.. I wouldn't even call it sleep given how unrestful it was.. running on caffeine and sugar again today I think.. I am so miserable and tired and just totally fed up of being in pain. :(

On a plus note I think.. TD on, WM on, D&G nagged about the whereabouts of my cheque and phonio on charge.. again.. it needs a new battery I think it is not holding its charge at all :(

Juliejim hope the visit to the Fang Farrier went/goes well (not sure what time your appointment is for);)

Mummyroysof3 Hope DH is ok; well done on your exam results - way to go!:T

Wendywitch *sigh* what are we going to do with you? To be perfectly honest, he sounds like a total waste of time to me, but I understand it's difficult when your heart is telling you other things. (Ex)boyfriendish..... Hmmm..... How about XBFish for an abbreviation?:D

No woofers in the house today, so I'm a tad miserable.:( Oh, and Tuesday is Lounge Day in the Wolf's Lair, so Dragon dusting is the order of the day.;)

ETA Piggers you posted while I was typing - sending you pain-free vibes; well, you can share the ones I'm trying to generate for myself!:o

  • House is clean and shiny - my cleaner came back from her holiday - yippee!

Will sort out my summer sandals - what a good idea! Also have a bookcase in the bedroom that needs a good sort out - will do it later when I come back from my knitting group. (Am wearing my new socks by the way - finished knitting them while the cleaner was here!)

Sorry to hear about poorly people - look after yourselves!

Can I ask how long you lovelies have been flying for?
    Will I be clutter free?

Hope your appointments went well. Between 5 and 6 years for me. I have learnt what works best for me along the years. Our house is now cleaner and tidier than it was. If you want to declutter you could try my old Anniversary declutter thread - it worked for me
Hi everyone, I would love to join you all if that's ok.

    Welcome and good luck

Dentist today at lunchtime to have my tooth out so not sure I'll be up to much later. I've also got a swollen and painful gland on the same side as my tooth so I'm hoping that will disappear when I've got rid of the tooth.

Hope it went well and is starting to settle down.

Been mainly shoppping so far today but did leave the kitchen all tidy. Going to have a snack and then a HHC at 2pm if anybody wants to join me.

good luck juliejim! Hopefully this will be the end of your dental troubles...

Er no! I've been to the dentist, he did a filling first which was fine and then attempted to take my tooth out. He gave it a prod first and then put more anaesthetic in as it was still painful and then attempted to pull it. When I was holding on to the chair and screaming, he decided that there was no way he could take it out if it was that painful so I've got a course of antibiotics and I've got to go back.:( I had to ring my mum to come and fetch me as I was crying and shaking and I've left my car there. I suppose I'm a bit of a wuss! I'm now sitting in bed having taken painkillers and my antibiotics hoping that my mouth will feel better soon. You can tell the amount of anaesthetic that he had put in as my mouth is still numb 2 hours later even though it's still painful.
need to give myself a kick..yesterday hubby was taken to hospital from work with chest pains..he ok but got high blood pressure and colesterol and strees. today i found out i passed my psychology OU course with a distinction..what a week

Congratulations - that's brilliant - hope DH gets sorted out.

I'm now going to chill and watch some TV I think.

Jue your poor thing. Can you get a referral to have it taken out somewhere else, like the oral department of the hospital? AFAIK a tooth should not be pulled whilst an infection is present. Have a hug.
