I understand the wisdom tooth thing, I am having issues and can't see the dentist until Friday. I am hoping it is just an infection and ABs will get rid of it as I really haven't got time to have it taken out.

Anyway sorry about my manners, I am in so thanks for the lists. I did quite a bit yesterday so I am hoping I can clear the rest today. Got to go for an injection later so will try and do a lot before that.

  • am running out of ideas for getting DH to the doctors about his snoring - says it doesn't bother him and he'll sleep downstairs......

Yes it does bother me - I've got bags under my eyes after last night - but it bothers him too - he spends half the evening asleep because he's so tired.....

but on a positive note my headache has gone and nobody has been sick since Sunday - something of a record at the moment...

rebecca.. nothing in life EVER goes to plan! lol.. I hope your friend is ok and recovering well, it must have been very scary for you both.. sometimes the forum monster gets hungry and eats a post.. please don't think we don't want you :D new victims to the cause are always welcome :D

Thanks Pigpen - yes it was rather scary, but hopefully all is well now. Am debating about whether to telephone and see how she is, or actually visit, but then again after yesterday she might want a day of peace and quiet in which to recover.

Right, off to make myself presentable and get going - hopefully will report back later!

    Morning all

Started the day by dropping an empty cat food bowl on the kitchen floor - still it made me get on with hoovering and giving the floor a good clean on hand and knees (usually mop it but that doesn't get it as clean) exhausted now. So just letting it dry.

10 minutes filing whilst I recover and decide what to do next.

how do you go about starting your own 'toots list' please? im coming to realise lists is the way to keep organised as i used to have lists in my head but they are never successful and easily get forgotten
    poohbear59 wrote: »
mrs-moneysaver, To start a toots list go to each room in your house, have a good look around to find all those long forgotten jobs that need doing and list them :D
You can also list all those other jobs like fill in tax form etc. which are not specific to a particular room. I need to find mine, I think it was on my old lappie.
I recommend keeping the "master" Toots list on an Excel spreadsheet - you can add and delete to your heart's content.;) I also use colour coding, because I'm so limited as to what I can do unaided - jobs for me alone are green, ones that Mr LW needs to do without my help (such as doing the flooring in the loft) are red, and ones we need to tackle together are black.

I have a 2nd page for "recurring" tasks - eg once the mower's been overhauled and put away for winter, I put it on Page 2 for resurrecting next year, iyswim.

Did I mention, I have something of a list fetish?:rotfl:

Why not drop her a quick txt in the first instance? It'd show you're concerned for her, but if she's resting she doesn't have to respond straight away, or sit up and be sociable if she's too tired to manage it? Just a thought.:o I hope she's feeling heaps better, in any event.

It's Wednesday, so the highlight of my day will be - joy of joys - scrubbing the loo.

    Morning all

I've done all the bedrooms today and two loads of washing which is hung round indoors, it has only rained a little so far but the forecast isn't great.

    Also vacuumed through downstairs.

Been out for my walk which was a bit blustery but at least it was dry!
