From a woman's point of view, I reckon that she's backed off.

If she's as active on FB as you say she is yet all you get is one or two word texts, then that shows she is backing away and isn't as interested as she previously was?

Either way, you aren't going to find out by asking people on a forum...give her a call, NOT a text.

The other option is to not text her at all and see if she contacts you.

I'd say this ^^ how many times have you text and not had a reply? That in itself can be rather annoying!

Stop checking her FB every 5 minutes, go out and do stuff yourself, with your mates, will take your mind off it all and give you something to post about!
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.

Text: "Hi. Have I done something to upset you, as you seem a bit quiet recently? Apologies if I have! Hope to see you soon, x"

If she doesn't reply, then I guess she's changed her mind, so perhaps just move on.

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I text her once on Thursday, she replied and mentioned she was at her sisters.
I text her first on Friday, just saying good morning (as my flowers had been delivered, but I had not heard anything), and she replied saying she had survived babysitting duties, spent the night and was gonna stay for the weekend.

So I don't believe i'm being clingy, it's just nice in my opinion to have communication with the person you're seeing.

I think I might just give pinkshoes advice a go this evening, and just go from there.

  • Don't let your insecurity push her away. If she's limiting her answers to your texts then back off a bit and give her some space while she's at her sisters then casually see how she is when she gets back. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Don't obsess about it or check up on her on facebook.

Maybe stop texting and start calling?

I'm 21, but despite the stigma attached to younger members of society constantly texting, sometimes it's nice to pick up the phone and talk! :)
  • It could be that time of month, or she was expecting you to jump her bones on Valentine's Day, she does sound moody. Best way forward is as others have said, just ask her, and not via text.

She's a woman. It could be one of a million reasons.

    Sit tight.
