Inherently faulty means that the item was manufactured in a way that the item was always going to fail.
but how can i prove this ..it would make the act useless..
in production a few things might fail due to human error but say 95 percent would be ok

You would get an engineers report. But as others have said, for how little a charger costs it would be far more cost effective just to buy a new one.

What phone is the charger for, and how old is it? Even if they did offer you a refund, it would be reduced to take into account use/ depreciation.

    the bottom line is
you return it to the shop
    they test it...not working
they send it off to get repaired or fault find
you dont have to do nothing other than that.
if you think you have to get a group of engineers looking at why the fault has happened and then send a report..
show me where you have seen this ..give me a li

My information is not from a website, it is from years of training and practice.

Fair enough but two years depreciation on a consumable like a charger is going to render any refund worth pennies, not even worth the bus fare. Have a look on ebay, Amazon or 7dayshop, you'll pick up a replacement for a few pounds.

Well, if you had bothered to read that first link you provided, you would've seen...
    Proving goods are faulty

If you bought the item within the last six months, it’s the trader’s responsibility to prove the item wasn’t faulty when you bought it.
If you bought your item over six months ago, you may have to prove the fault was not caused by accidental damage or wear and tear. You can do this by getting a second opinion from an independent expert (see link below).
Is that what you were looking for?

How many times do you need to be told?

    A reminder...
When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.

Is that a picture of you in your avatar? Your posts in this thread are conjuring up images of you. (only with you shooting passing cars with a walking stick, wearing slippers and a dressing gown outside a T-Mobile shop)

The sad thing is, if you prove the fault was inherent any legitimate claim you have is worth pennies (as a previous poster has pointed out)

After reading some of your posts on this thread, and in the shoes of a retailer it would make more sense to pay you to !!!! off and leave me alone than listen to some of your insane ramblings.

In fact I'd do it out of my own pocket if it mean't the paying you off was cheaper than the consequential loss of debating this with yourself and my sanity.

Sadly you'd probably see this as a victory in you deluded world. Some would argue that there is some method to your madness, but I don't think you've thought that far ahead.
