    Hi guys.

Confession time...i have totally blown my budget :(
i know part of it is to do with my depression, but i cant blame that entirely, as i have just been too frivilous i think.

Am off to the GP on Monday to ask for a change of pills too, so who knows, that may help.

Not long till the exams are OVER! Only just over a week (last one is next Monday).

This weekend wont be a MSE one, as i am off to Taunton again to meet up with a friend, so have to put petrol etc in the car.

Sometimes there are just too many things going on at the same time to get everything sorted and in shape. Don't worry. The techniques you have learned have not gone, only gone on holiday. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Take care and keep it going with the family and the exams

    All the best

Awww ((hugs)) - if it helps at all ..... my budgets gone haywire too :o - as SL says, sometimes RL just gets in the way of the best of intentions. All we can do is pick ourselves up and get back to our MSE ways ......

Hope you have a lovely weekend with your friend - I remember going to Taunton many years ago and it's a beautiful part of the country.

I'd really like to explore that part of the UK again (as well as loads of other parts I've never been too) - must try to get that holiday fund up and running again!;)

Thanks everyone for your lovely words of support.
i have just got home from Taunton (yep, gave you a wave Barb!) and am trying to decide what to do this evening.
I am thinking about taking the £20 left in my purse, and going to buy a bottle of wine and DVD...although i probably shouldnt.

Ooh, talk about see one, want one. DH has gone for a take away curry and I have just put a bottle of wine in the fridge but we will be watching the BGT final as our DS's band have played with the Lovable Rogues so it's a bit like knowing them (and a bit scary that our DS's band are at least as good).

    Have a good evening

    Morning!
Well, didnt end up doing anything last night except drinking a glass of wine and falling asleep at 9pm!! Oh dear, my teenage self would be so embarassed!!

Today i am aiming to get back on track.

    Today i will:
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Pick up kids from ex
    Check OLB[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Work out my budget
    Clean house
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]Do washing[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Do a bit of revision
    Bath the kids
    Find a window cleaner

I also need to fiind someone to give me a quote to insatll a shower and do some tiling in the bathroom. I am a bit annoyed because a few weeks ago i had someone come in and have a look he said he would call me that weekend, but i havent heard anything since! So, need to find someone else now.

I might ask the ex if she could do the tiling, to save some money, but i dont know if he'll do a 'proper' job...so maybe its worth the money to get it done properly!!

    Hi Cleggie,

When we had our shower done we bought the shower boards for the walls (no good over a bath) because it means no more grout to keep clean. Very impressed with them - they are a laminated board and look sleek and lovely. Worth a google as you can get them quite reasonably.

We have had day 2 of our open gardens day and the lady at the farmhouse who was doing cream teas says she has done 75 today! we've had a steady stream of people all day, and lots wanting to chat as well as look (right up my street, that is!). On one level it's lovely. On another level, thank goodness it is only every four years!

Take care and good luck with the exam revision. BTW forgot to open the white wine with the curry last night so a small glass with tonight's stir fry is in order, especially as DH has only got the Y10 mocks left to mark now all the A-level and GCSE stuff has gone off to the exam boards - bless him he did four hours grass cutting on Friday for this weekend, and took the late stint to collect DS from work at 1am last night. He needs a "stroke" really.

Take care and have a good week (keep going with the revision)

    All the best

Haven't been to visit you for a couple of days, sorry. I was at a loose end on Sat, could've met you!

Sorry to hear you've not been feeling great these last few days - like others have said, you still know what to do. And, it's not only you that has these blips, we all do! (With the poss exception of Florenceem!!) Just know that we're all behind you, and wishing you the best. You'll sort it out now, because there's no other choice.

Chin up, and hope you have a productive day.

    xx
