    I don't think the second poster wants comp they just want to get there 2 days pay

    I've worked in kitchens/restaurants, and yes it's a fast paced line of work, often with a lot of pressure. Not everyone has the ability to cope under pressure.

    Dangerous? Not if you're careful and follow basic safety procedures etc...

    As for the OP, accidents happen. This could just as easily have been a customer whose coke slid off the tray whilst walking to the tray stacking thing. Inconvenient, yes, but sh*t happens!


    hi would justlike to say its only the 2 days wages im after not compo and i do not mind working under pressure many times i used to be left running my uncles pub when he was off on hols but never had to work in conditions like that, they all ran about as if there was no tommorrow and the kitchen floor used to be swimming in water dont know how many times i slid in my first dayand that was with dishes in my hand. so it could have been very dangerous
