I thought better check, my brains just been all over the place.

Financially - plodding along generally not making depths just coasting but as due next dmp review in June - review then.

Still and back and forth to the hospital for reviews and dressing changes slowly becoming less - which is good in a way, but it opens another can of worms as brings round scan and an early mammogram - pleased its all being sorted but scary.

Took a few days out with dd went up to blackpool - it was a gd break as we spent quality time the 2 of us, thou it was the bad rain and wind - but we managed.

Getting sorted at last as dads starting taking more control over his banking, generally run an eye on things and sort out as much as I can online for him.

He's also taken over the top up shopping which is a great help for me, I still do the main shop, started having the online delivery as well, seem to had some intro offers, last week was ocAdo - £20 off £80 spend, there was some good offers but I did notice some products were generally dearer. This week taken advantage of sainsburys £15 off £60 spend - this triggers £10 off the next 5 shops - depending on how I find this delivery may do the full weeks shop at sainsburys or the voucher value then top up at tesco see what happens.

    This week -
    Dd back at school
    2 sets of dressing changes
    1 hosp consultant visit

As for my great plan of tidying and sorting I started with great gutso then fell flat - did well sold some clothes on eBAy I made £100 which covered b&b and petrol for my break.

This week - got to sort presents out - my only list was on computer - the hard drive died, bless her dd is lending me her computer - giving her £5 a week for the rental - she puts it straight on her lunch card ( I would normally top her card with £5 a week) - gives her some extra pennies if she wants a drink with her dinner or bacon roll at breakie.

My laptop 3 1/2 yrs old, the keyboard was sticking, needed a new battery, I don't think it's worth getting fixed - so going to save for laptop - plan is sept at the latest

    Onwards and upwards xx

I have some good news, not money related, but feels as good...

I had a mammagram and scan done on my boobs, as the infection was that deep routed they weren't sure what they were going to find, I was told (afterwards) that included, cancer...

    ALL CLEAR.......

Really pleased as had the results back literally straight away.

The state of play now, - go back in 4 weeks as the hole isn't closing as it should, so back to gp surgery twice a week for dressing changed, and then 4 weeks to the consultants.

Had dentist as well this week, 2 fillings, - now dont need to go back for 6 months. xx

My next tackle is the dining room, be half job as need to put some stuff in the garage then attack my bedroom, I've promised DD she can have a friend for a sleepover when its done, they have my bed, and I shift into dds....

Got 20 items ending this week on ebay, so far 4 are selling, £15, all help out in hols fund.

I really need to get a new mindset re money, not really done anything silly ( to be honest any financial institution would run a mile), I have took my eye off the ball, been concentrating on mum and dads money.

Although dads well on the road to recovery, although I've handed the reins back so to say, I still keep an eye on the ball, and sort out as much as I can online, pay the bills (there account), there no silver surfers...

    The plan for May...
Sort out online shopping fortnightly (got some Sainsburys £10 off vouchers and free delievery)

Running the freezer down to see what we have got - then do one big shop to top it up.

Check last yrs bills (gas/elec) - make sure all this yrs are either meter rread or we submit the readings... since dads illness we sent £400 extra on gas and elec based on like for like bills this time last yr. Its things lie before the central heating cut in at 15.5C, now we have it adjusted to 20c, and elec, we've had tumble drier on daily from Aug to about week ago, sometimes twice, even 5 times a day...

They wont consider swooping providers - so price fixed the tariffs (generally saved over time)

I still need to do the massive tidy up, will start tackling soon...

    ---

As for money for me, I've got to give mum £100 back she pd off my share of DDs trip..

I'm going to coast this month and June - go back to being more organised, xx

Still coasting, just cant seem to get my mind around anything, -

I'm such a daft prat, ended up bursting into tears yesterday - having the dressing changed and the good news is, its 99% healed, and one more official dressing to go, then I can pop a plaster on, - since Feb its been the forefront of everything, gone from daily dressings, twice weekly consultant to almost zilch, which is amazing, but I feel let down.

I've got a few things sorted, in terms of tidying up, i've cleared some items on ebay, reinvested that on some clothes for DD.

had the bank hol weekend away, just up the coast, the four of us and the dog, - the dog so funny when we were packing the car to come home he was trying to hide under the bed, he hates leaving...

Thou DD had a fall - she was pushing a trolley and the wheel jammed, a cropper she went, shes damaged her knee, so off school.

On another tangent.... I finally wrote a letter of complaint to the GP surgery that treated dad last yr and we have had conformation the complaint is being dealt with, I feel awful doing it, but if we had followed advice, there would be a have a very strong chance dad wouldn't have been here now.

Next to do - write to the hospital, - I need to start that next week.....

Pay bills day tomorrow..... and drop some begging letters off for the school pta to see of we can get some raffle prizes, hand delievery save me postage...

    xx

Bit more of a productive day today...

Paid for my summer holiday, I know it seems mad when I have debt, but sanity I need a break, and do DD the world of good.

I've delievered 26 begging letters..... on behalf of the school pta - literally went one end of town to the other and criss cross... had my 1st prize given me, so really pleased.

I've got about 8 more letters to post, generally 50% of them get a prize, as there attractions - families get a day out.

I brought a jar of mincemeat, so will be making some mince pies over the weekend xx
