Just had a quick catch up. So sorry to hear about your Dad and grrr the ex and his family.
You are doing really well with everything life chucks at you.
I did wonder though that given you are on longterm benefits and your dfd is not too near woukd BR be an option. It is daunting but I feel so much freer and able to deal with other problems.:j0 -
I did look at bankruptcy but it sounds daft it scared me Im looking at plan b, at the mo if I can a yrs worth of dmp payments - should be £2k that should bring me around the 15k mark if I can get it below that then review my income v outgoing I should (fingers crossed) be eligible for the debt relief order , it's going to be a lot less evasive than bankruptcy and 12 mths be off the record, if I could pay it all back great but based on what paying normally by nov 2023 dd be 21 by then. Hoping the 3mths at 50 quid I can some other financies sorted an have a £300 emergency fund xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

My little girl is all grown up she's gone into town for the first time with her friend it's the 1st time for both of them, dropped them in town and going to pick them up after, she's texted a couple of times and rang and it's all going ok.
On a financial front made £50 from selling some clothes on eBay so pleased so that go up in Xmas fund.
Now working way through contacting creditors to say your only getting £5 till January my biggest creditor have been the nicest so fingers crossed everyone else should follow was going to pay normal in dec but with everything just extend the £5
We've just had elec bill £185 but the tumble drier has been on usually twice a day as can't get to the washing line, we had all dads washing to wash and get dry when he was in hosp, touch wood things have slowed down slightly with his bag though he's had a couple of bursts this week, he's having a side effect from chemo tabs. Not looking forward to the next bill! Xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
