I haven't. Never worked for any lottery company of any kind, unless you count selling the national lottery at Sainsbury's?
I'm currently a housewife, have been since my first son was born in 2010...
My mom lives in the postcode B36 9** which won the big prize back in February I think, and a few people we know (her neighbours in the same postcode areas, obviously) have won £7k plus. I was just pointing out that I knew it wasn't a scam as I have seen people I know win and receive the money etc.0 -
Lotteries have odds of 50% return if you are lucky.
As bad a rip off as taking out a payday loan!!!0 -
Hi everyone
The People's Postcode Lottery has asked to respond to clarify a few points. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the Forum.
1. We give 25% of ticket price to charity. http://www.postcodelottery.co.uk/Charities.htm
2. The National Lottery gives 28% of revenues to charity. https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/p/goodcausesandwinners/wherethemoneygoes.ftl
3. The top win limit mandated by UK law for our players is £400,000 per ticket.
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

I was as sceptical as everyone else and no way was I going to be tempted. However......someone around the corner has just won 10s of thousands of pounds on it. Well done them and  to their bravery also.0

Did you know?? 'People’s Postcode Lottery' is a postcode-based subscription lottery which operates across Great Britain. It is run by Novamedia BV, an international charity lottery operator based in The Netherlands.? Not even English...Novamedia BV, Find lots of ways to get your cash by DD Out of your account...Don't fall for it...If it looks to good to be true? its just that...You pay £10;pm by DD...for a chance to win..what ever???? Now???? Its the Peoples Euro lottery....For another chance to be ripped off, by another name.....Its just stupid "Rip Off Britain" ? Oops,.. sorry its not even British!!!!!!..Enough Said!! My Cash is better in my bank not someone elses..:T0

Don't understand this - if you pay your subscriptions by direct debit, then the PPL already have your bank account details, so why should you have to "register" those details again to receive your winnings?0

I have to say I am becoming somewhat sceptical about the supposed randomness of the people's postcode lottery. If you have a look at the results of the weekly draw, where the average win is 10k, the majority of winners are new signers (i.e. people who have signed up in the previous four months). This would of course benefit those running the PPL as it would encourage even more people to sign up, but statistically is it truly feasible that those who have recently signed up to the PPL have more chance of winning than someone who has been a member for say longer in what is supposed to be a random draw?0

Random draw can produce all sorts of results, just look at the last 14 thunderballs where the numbers 1 to 9 have only come up twice while numbers 10 to 14 have come up twelve times.0 -
I have been with them a few months, won £10 to start with, and had to run them up all over the place to get it. Just cancelled my subscription. Something does not feel right with this company. Just tried to log-in on the site, but where do you log-in now?? There is nothing to click, had to search in browser for log-in page. No "my account" page either, telling you about your bonus points, just goes straight to card details for purchashing tickets. VERY STRANGE, I have cancelled through my Paypal, so if anything is took out of my bank account, I will know they are dodgy.0
