    Life here at the castle has taken a significant turn ........

    I have a new job :j this turn of events has taken me by surprise, to say the least.
    Unfortunately, it has meant that I have needed to buy a car to help me get to and from work. It will be worth it, I tell myself....... It will, will WILL :).

    But it also means I have had to add another £2000 onto my signature :-( I need to be much more motivated now and pick up the debt busting pace!

    Life at the Emerald City is grim, everyone is fed up and not knowing whether they will have a job come September. Lots of changes are taking place as the Wizard is leaving. I didn't want to leave anything to fate and providence, so I took the bull by the horns and applied for a new job, which I got........... Yey!

    The funds are a little light.........lol, a lot light, but onwards and upwards.

    Hope everyone is well.

    The funds, stand as follows......

    Bills = £ 259.

    Debt Busting = £ 30.

    Louboutins = £ 12. Whey!

    At the moment I am working my old and new job simultaneously, until I can officially leave and start full time. It has been a momentous decision, but hopefully a well thought out one. 'I'm out of the woods, out of the dark and into the light'.

    Let's see what is over the rainbow? As of now I am holding my breath, closing my eyes and tapping my imaginary red, glittery Louboutins heels together three times :-)

    Make a wish that I am transported somewhere over the rainbow....... I need a little colour in my life :-)

    Hi there, Pennywisepoundstupid x. Hope you are well and life is treating you fine!

    I'm still tripping the light fantastic along the Yellow Brick Road :D

    Lots of changes are occurring, but all for the better. I'm actually pretty excited about my new journey, not least because it gets me away from the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkey. Something's never change. :cool: Lots of strange goings on are working their magic behind the scenes, so hopefully I will have loads to share shortly.

    Thanks for welcoming me back, it has been a while :beer:

    Morning everyone x

    How are you all today? Exciting day for me as I officially start my new job role :j and I become the new proud owner of a Ford Ka...... A red one too :rotfl: I do have a soft spot for the colour red!

    Anyway, first things first..... I need to officially hand in my resignation to my old school. I will be fervently biting my tongue, oh sooooooooo much I could say about the wicked goin's on there, but I shall leave with dignity and poise, whilst soaking in the aftershock of my sudden departure.

    I let Mr Wonderful loose in Mr T's this morning at 6am. Probably not the best idea, as he has more than likely purchased a whole load of chocolate, convincing himself of needing a sugar rush just to be able to focus his eyes on the food shelves at that time of the morning......we actually only needed milk and bread...... I'm afraid
    to venture downstairs to see what has landed on the kitchen counter!

    I have to admit, I'm pretty nervous about starting my new job. I'm working alongside the Y2 teacher, supporting an autistic little girl. I
    did meet everyone briefly when I was thrown into the staff room
    and introduced to everyone. Can I heck remember any of the
    names?!? But, I do like a challenge! Watch this space, I'm sure
    many a faux pas will occur over the coming weeks, until I get
    settled :)

    Wednesdays are usually a quiet day around these parts, reserved for homework and reading, so I'm looking forward to a quiet night......

    Dinner will be something light and refreshing, a home-made pasta bake with crispy roasted potato and garlic bread to mop up the
    pasta juices.

    Hopefully, now that Mr W has been 6am food shopping, I should have no need to buy anything......... In theory!

    Have a wonderful day everyone.

    Well, thank Crunchie it's Friday :j

    I am shockingly exhausted. Running two jobs is certainly taking it's toll, I just keep thinking that come the end of the month it's all extra money in the pot.

    Mr W's wage was paid into the account today, but it was significantly less, due to him taking time off work last week with a sickness bug. £200 less :(

    Hot footed it to A[di yesterday and spent £57 on a weeks worth of groceries....... Fabulous, I must say!

    The Royal carriage needs servicing tomorrow, so thats another £200 given away ....... I feel like money is leaving us hand over fist......

    The accounts stand as follows......

    Bills = £212. :rotfl:

    Debt Busting = £40.

    Louboutins = £12.

    Things are not looking too bright....... But, I will come up with a plan!

    Feeling a bit emotional in my old job. Not sure if I have mentioned that Princess and Munchkin go to the same school where I work?
    Well, that will all change when I officially leave a start properly at my new school, when I have worked out my notice.

    Well, today when Munchkin stood up in assembly to collect his merit certificate, it hit me square between the eyes that I will no longer get to see this happen and boy oh boy, did I feel it :(

    I know this new position is for the best, as lots of crazy things are happening at the old school and the new position is permanent, offering room for advancement ....... And I have negotiated hours to take and pick up my kids from school.

    BUT...?

    I HATE CHANGE !!!!!! I love routine, the same old, same old. The better the devil you know........ So I'm emotional!

    Maybe, when I make the break properly and I can concentrate on my new position I will feel more positive........ And when I receive my bigger and better paycheque ;). But, until then....... I feel like I'm a hormonal wreak. I just need to breathe my way through this.

    Hope everyone is well?
