Just having a read through the debt free diaries for some motivation and noticed yours, sounds like you are very motivated and I think you are wonderful for taking the bull by the horns and progressing career wise. I work 9-3 as a nurse which is unheard off, there are lots of jobs coming up and lots of opportunities which I miss because I daren't give up these hours - well done!

Hi there Pinot and emmie26. Thanks for replying :-)

I could see Pinot that you must have a major dilemma each morning, you must waste (have fun) each time choosing the exact right shoe for each outfit :p......... I am soooooooo jealous! Xx

Emmie26, don't beat yourself up too much over lost opportunities. If you have given them consideration and have decided that where you are now regarding putting family first, I think that is most admirable. I wholeheartedly believe that our children are only young for a short time and soon enough we can make career decisions based on what we WANT, rather than sacrifice our children's young and fleeting childhood. They are much more important. Well done you Xx

Not much to report in the Land of Enchantment. We are £200 lighter, due to the gold guilded Royal Carriage being serviced. This needed to be put in the credit card, which pained me to do so :( but as the hand break was acting a bit dodgy and the oil light wouldn't turn off, I considered it a necessary evil.

Took Princess to a friends birthday party and decided to give the little a girl a Snow White costume that was given to Princess for Christmas. It was unopened and still sealed. Since we came back from the party, Princess took the royal Labrador for a walk with Mr Wonderful and played with the party girl on the field and consequently told her that it was her Christmas Present  OMG, I now have to see the Mum at school....... I am so, so embarrassed!

I have never done anything like that before and I really thought it was very MSE, but now I'm going to be blushing every time I see the Mum and have a conversation with her......... Kids hey, who'd have 'em??

My parents have called and invited us for a Carvery Sunday Dinner..... Their treat :j so I am looking forward to it. It means I will be a meal ahead with my planning and we will all have a lovely filling Sunday Dinner :-) Nom, Nom.

Spending sometime reading some diaries......... They are all so inspirational Xx

    Love to all, Enchanted Xx

    Hi Enchanted

I've only just found your diary after seeing you on Pennywises diary. The diaries fab but what really caught my eye were those gorgeous red, sparkly, fabulous shoes!!! I have a J Choo fund which is growing nicely so I know where you are coming from on the shoe fund.

Good luck I shall subscribe xxx

Hi there Choogirl  I LOVE shoes........ Especially Louboutins! Hopefully one day we both might have a shoe closet to rival Carrie Bradshaw ........:T

Ok, here's the thing..... As I mentioned I have a new job at a school teaching special needs, this is for 20 hours a week. I handed in my resignation last week. Today, I called into my (old) Head's office to find out my leaving date and she told me that she had spoken to my (new) Head and they had arranged that I could work at her school in the afternoon and the other school in the morning. :rotfl: I never in a million years saw this coming....... I'm not sure if this is going to be a long-term gig or just until the end of the school year, but WOW! Unexpected!

    Totals stand as follows.......

    Bills = £135.

    Debt Busting = £40.

    Louboutins = £12. :rotfl:

Tomorrow, I have B/card to pay £111 and on Thurs LTSB Credit card to pay £50.

I also have £60 to withdraw from another account that gets topped up each month with an Attendance Allowance for cleaning work I do for a client...... 3 hours a week.

I have a feeling life is going to get very busy for the forseeable future.

The Emerald City is still very tense, jobs are very tentative, which is another reason why under these circumstances they are willing to keep me on........ They could easily give my position to one of the employees they are going to make redundant. It's all very strange.

Anyway, it was worth saying ok to the new arrangement just to see the look on the WW of the W face when I told her I wasn't leaving just yet......... I thought she was about to wither away in a small pool of water :D she immediately vacated the classroom to verify the news........ Priceless!

Hope everyone is well and making in roads with their debt busting :A

    Take care, Love Enchanted Xx

    Hi Enchanted :)

Just finished reading your diary. Love your attitude and style of writing. I really hope you get those shoes one day :D.

Well done on the new job and getting to stay in your old one too. Just think how much more quickly you will be able to clear your debts (and get your shoes ;)).

    I'm off to subscribe.

Hi there Emz :D welcome to my crazy diary!

Busy day, today in the Land of Enchantment. Worked my old job this morning, with the Flying Monkey buzzing around. She is starting to get a little agitated as she has an interview tomorrow for her own job..... We are all going through a redundancy period and having to apply for one of two jobs. As you know, I'm safe for the time being, but things are a little tense. The Flying Monkey knows she is going to be safe....... Surely you can't kiss that many backsides and not be :rotfl: but she is putting on a good show anyway.

The W W of the W was pretty ok today ....... Unusual for her :A

Things in the accounts are not looking too great.

I looked online and it seems that Mr Wonderful has been popping to Tesco here and there...... Not spending much, mind you, but it all adds up. About £25 in total, which I didn't reckon on :(

So I have had to top up the bills account with the £40 from my debt busting pot  I put this towards paying the B/card bill due today...... So I guess it could be called D. Busting :)

Also paid in the £60 I mentioned yesterday. So I should have enough for the LTSB card tomorrow £52.

This only leaves a couple of pounds to last until Friday when Mr Wonderful gets paid....... Hopefully that should be a healthy amount this week :T

Morning off tomorrow as I need to sort out my CRB for my new job. It all GO, GO, GO in the Land of Enchantment at the moment!

Going to try and find the Desperate Housewives Finale on YouTube as I can't wait for it to air on E4. I've been told I will need tissues :( I have the wine and chocolate all ready.........?..;)

Hope you have all had a productive day.
