If you have Microsoft Outlook on your Computer i always sync my contacts to that

Does the lot even contact pictures if you have them its a good email program.

When I transferred mine the contact pictures were included, but I didn't use OE or outlook, as the amount of security holes rumoured in windows :o

Well done, was easy ? Many of the handset features are self help/activating nowadays

PS. Don't let thegoodman find out as anything none apple and he will spam the forum :o

Yes it was very easy. I got myself all worked up for nothing.

Just followed the instructions on the Lumia/6700 and the user guide and it took about 3 minutes.

I don't think there is any way to do this with a WP7 device - it's designed to sync with the cloud. You can get around it by sync to hotmail and then that syncs with outlook but then you might as well just sync with hotmail...

The trouble is how secure is any thing now days
if you sync to Hotmail, yahoo, cloud, Google any of them could have security holes.
