• That you for My day today - hmmm what can I tell you.....

Might be teaching depends on the weather - call me old fashioned (YOUR old fashioned) - I don't really like doing pruning and alike in a gale and rain.
I've to gather some tools
Do more work on website for work
NEED to do work on my own website
DD in town all day, for tea and then fencing after
Ds off school prelim leave
Puppy has already eaten the hens food (I can't wait to hear his tummy later)
Hens have tried to get into the house twice already
Eggs which were hidden have been found, washed and boxed up

Banks to look at and decide how to move forward with those - probably not much in the way of PAD action but I'll peek

I need to make lunch and find waterproofs - oh the glamour.

Have a great one - thank you for the thread :)

• Morning all, and hugs to everyone needing them. Seems to be lots of tough stuff going on for people at the moment. I'm dragging OH to the docs again this afternoon as his depression is starting to spiral out of control again (and it's unbearable to live with).
I had hoped half term would help me to recharge batteries and feel more energised but not feeling it yet I have to say.
Here's my small list for today
Checked banking online
Read Martin's email
Walk instead of use car
Take OH to docs
Take dd for a haircut, and check out any reduced bargains from Valentine's whilst I'm in town
Flylady level 3!
Find something to make with the food in my fridge which is looking way past its best because I don't want to waste it.

Have a good day everyone.

can I just pop in and say, I've always seen these posts and flown past them... because I was working as a self-employed taxi driver as well as being at uni my rational was that I was better of out there making money rather than trying to do 'the little things' and I guess upto a point this was probablly true.. but no more!! since december i've been doing bank shifts at the hospital and I'm only allow to do two 12 hour shifts a week (due to my uni course being 37.5 hours)
that's a long winded way of saying I now have no excuse, I have (albeit) a small amount of spare time on my hands which I would like to put to use at being even more frugal!! so after reading all your inspiring posts i got out of my bed, stopped playing on the laptop, turned the heating of, and gave myself a list of to-do's for today and here goes my first attempt:

Turn the heating of until tonight :)
Go to the gym and have a swim... saving money on showering ;)
Go thru the freezer/ cupboards and rustle up a meal plan for rest of week
put washing on and put on the clothes horse in front of de-humidifier- this works SO well!!!
shop according to meal planner

I do need help regs surveys ect, did try them a few years ago but i never seemed to get enough points to cash into anything any advice on ones that are worthwhile doing would be gratefully received!!

Hope it's OK for me to join in. I'm a novice MSEer, taking baby steps to start.
Today I have:
• Checked bank
• Made 2 small payments to credit cards (on DDs for minimum payments so trying to pay more when I can)
• Checked TCB
• Checked Eb*y (no bids but only 2 items listed)
• Checked emails
(inc spam as I always forget about that)

and I will:
• Look for surveys on VOP and Pop COMPLETED 3
• Register with at least 3 other survey sites REGISTERED WITH 1 SO FAR
• Cheap meals from stores DONE
• Start accurately costing meals (it's the sides and extras that do me, I think) STARTED
• List at least 2 items on Eb*y MASSIVE FAIL
• Dry washing on airer DONE
• Bank cheques and cash languishing in my purse MEGA FAIL
• Try to find out about superp**nts, swagb*ucks and other clicky sites DONE - THANKS TO VERY SUPPORTIVE CONTRIBUTORS TO THESE BOARDS
• Enter some co
mps (well - you never know) NOT TODAY

Have also:
Registered for alerts from petrolprices
Gained (almost certainly) a new dog-walking client
Increased amounts tracking on TCB by £33
Gained 59 swagbucks (it's a start)
Ordered soapnuts
Resisted all pleas for a McD's (DD has friend staying for half term) - instead used bargain buy pizza, garlic bread and wedges from freezer plus left over salad (cost 50p per head)
Found 10p while dog walking

No discernible benefits showing in bank account yet -- but I'm getting there (I hope!)
