Hi girls just a quick update for you. I got married on 1st April, the day was perfect, no problems at all.

It was such a plain and simple day, just good fun with good people. I was so chilled and relaxed, was even 10 minutes early to the chapel.

So for a few hours I'll leave some pics up for you, I always appreciate when others do it too.

Thanks for everything April 13 brides and grooms, even though I was more of a reader I really loved this wee thread

    Cate

Hey girls, I'm back!!! Congratulations to all, you all looked absolutely A. MAZE. ING!!!

Will do a proper post soon with all the details but first I need (more) help!

I managed to get my dress covered in marks so it needs cleaning before Sunday (for the reception!) Does anyone know anywhere in the NW London/Herts area? I'm wary of sending it to a non specialist dry cleaners as it's silk!

PS Here is a quick pic for starters ;)

Congrats Sk00bie! Can't wait for your post and pics as we're going off to Vegas next Friday for our wedding so yours is of particular interest to me :)

If you've any suggestions of particularly nice things to do there as well, that would be great!

    Hey Turtle!

You lucky thing, am so envious, wish I was going back! I'm going to post a full Vegas TR in the Vegas forum on here so I'll post that link, then do a mainly wedding orientated post on here. Will try and get it up ASAP, although there's quite a bit to do for our reception on Sunday and I've only written 3 days worth so far, so amny details to include!

    In the meantime what's your budget re things to do? We managed to fit in the following but costs varied quite a bit. I'd bought lots of vouchers so most things were cheaper and it was a great help that some things were fully prepaid! I/OH or we all did;

    Go-karting
    Shooting @the Gun Store
    Afternoon tea @The Mandarin Oriental
ATV (quad bike!) tour of Valley of Fire
    Heli tour of the strip
Heli tour of the Grand canyon/Hoover dam
Theme park (Six Flags Magic Mountain in LA - stayed overnight after dropping my mum at LAX)
    Rock of Ages
    Beatles Love
    Rollercoaster @NYNY

I'd also booked a Scoot City tour of Red Rock Valley but we got the day wrong, so that will have to wait until next time!

If any of those float your boat I can give you details! We also ate in so many nice places and drank lots of cocktails, but I'll put all those details in my trip report. We definitely blew the budget re food and drinks :rotfl: Restaurant.com is great for food vouchers ;)

Do you have any other questions in the meantime?

I would like to thank everyone on this thread. I have been looking at the thread more than posting but you have all been such a help. With some ideas (that I may have used) It's sad that it's all over :(
