buying a mobile phone in the night?

Just a question- so I/We can help you, I don't understand why you'd need to buy mobiles repeatidly, like often, surely if you have 1 even 2 mobiles this is enough? You'd be paying a fortune to keep replacing them just because you need to use one but don't have your handset with you. Don't forget charging, not all work straight out of the box, many would need a days charging before use and this requires you to be at home by your plug socket.
Not all 24- Hour Supermarkets will do mobile phone sales at night, many of the handsets are kept locked away and the people who deal with those sales leave at a certain time meaning you cannot purchase the handset at that time.
OP have you considered using a payphone? You could save a fortune!0 -

yes, I still want to know which are available outside of the mobile phone shop within the store. whether locked in a box or not..
sometimes the guy with a key is in. I had that once with a usb stick from an asda store.
a simple answer to your other question is I like to have options.. that helps me.
The few mobiles idea is useful like using one and having 2 spares, I tend to lose things. I will do that so I have that option available to me.
I'd still like to hear from bowls on what he has seen..whether in a security box or not in a box, within the 24h supermarket but outside the internal "mobile phone store". Which supermarkets, if any in london.. I saw nothing like it in the ASDAs I tried or a Tescos. If that's indeed a silly option a lot of the time then so be it, maybe i'll do a different option.. but I want to have my options! my mental processing is a bit different from most people and I have some personal issues affecting things too.0 -

Couldn't you just stop try and stop losing them? How many do you lose per year at present? No free lunch, and no free laptop

I live in Greater London and Tesco have shelf loads of phones in plastic boxes which you take to the till and buy even when mobile phone ship is closed. They are usually the low end £10 type phones, although they have some dearer ones as well .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Both the 24hr Tesco and Asda near me (I'm not in London, but I imagine any large store would be the same) have shelves full of PAYG mobile phones you can pick off the shelf and just take to the till.0

Most lager Sainsburys have them on the shelf, you can buy them at anytime. They have small cards by each one, just take a card to a till and they'll get the phone for you.
But as has already been said, any new phone will need charging, so even though you can buy one right away it doesn't mean you can use it right away...0 -

Any of the Tescos that DON'T have a mobile phone shop will have phones on the shelf to buy at anytime. As London is a big place and we don't know where abouts in it you are use the store finder facility to find your nearest 24hr Tesco without a phone shop. Same goes for Asda
Easy peasy.
