buying a mobile phone in the night?
Hi
Where can I buy a phone during the night?
I have strange personal issues and sometimes am only ready at night. like 2am 3am etc. and sometimes I lose my phone and need to buy one urgently to replace it so need a new phone and sim.
Is there anywhere at all in London?
Thanks

no use buying more SIMS and keeping them safe 'cos they'd expire I suppose. like if no call made for 3 months0

no use..
they have a mobile phone shop which isn't open 24h.
I tried tesco and asda, same situation.0 -
Not all of them do, there are plenty of Tesco's without a phone shop.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Online is your best course, and it's easier to compare models and prices.
I hope you also get help for your issues which sound bad if like a Vampire you only come out at Night.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I am seeking help with the personal issues..thanks..
online doesn't count as a solution to the question though 'cos these are cases where i'd really want it straight away.
(then the weight of me not having a mobile is off my mind 'cos i'd be able to get it immediately, and not worry about when it might arrive or wait a whole day without it, I may need it very suddenly like I may not have it at 3am and need one urgently for the following day - with a working SIM card) Maybe SIM cards don't expire unless activated in some way, I don't know.. i'd like to be able to store a SIM card for years potentially thenh it's also a weight off my mind I don't have to remember to keep buying new spare SIM cards and throwing out old spare ones in advance of the event of losing my phone and its sim.0 -
Most 24h supermarkets keep low value mobiles on the shelf (all be it in security boxes that are taken off at the checkout). Simply go in, pick it up and pay.
Alternatively, if you purchase spare mobiles online in advance, you can go in to the supermarket, pick up a SIM card (often at/near the checkout) and activate & add credit to it immediately. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

I like the idea of having a stock of handsets and then just buying a SIM card at night.
That aside, bowling4, you've obviously seen something
can you give me an example of any 24 hour supermarket in or around the london area that would have a handset near the checkout near a security box, from what you've seen?
I visited some Asdas, and I called a Tescos and I saw and they all only mentioned "mobile phone shops" within their stores. These mobile phone shops weren't open during the night.
I heard nothing about them having mobiles in security boxes near checkout.0
