You've got my wee head burling Ed
I can so imagine Kylie singing that :rotfl:
Well, I've been paid today and the household budget is skint
I lie, we've put aside £400+ for the baby, £250 into our Emergency Fund and about another £400 into various pots. But it's so slow! The transition from 'we've got £500/mth spare', to 'we've got £500/mth to save for the baby' is very abrupt.
Realistically, for our pretend maternity leave experiment to work, we're going to have to trim another £2-300 from the budget.
Might I bore y'all with a SOA?
I am going to have to buy jeans at some point today. I am now down to one pair, and they have a gigantic coffee stain on the legI am sitting here surrounded by all the spotless young gents in their Armani shirts and buzzcuts feeling very scruffy. Don't get me wrong, I've better things to spend my money on than £70 shirts, but I don't want to look like I don't care
Lots of MBs settling tonight and tomorrow, should have £80 worth of free bets to play.0 -

It's your diary - of course you can post your SOA. I'm useless at making suggestions about SOAs, though. I can never think of anything.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Absolutely, Ed, of course you're free to post your SOA - I bet you've done the big things and you're looking to trim stuff now - hope we can help, but you seem v v knowledgeable

I forget where the SOA calculator is - it seems like so long ago that I was a DFW!
Having a Birthday/Mother's Day breakfast at a local caf! with my Glasgow relatives today, really looking forward to it.
Other than that, a mad day of trying to finish all the housework so that I can have Sunday and Monday off.
Added one new bet to the MB list, a £20 free bet that I'm hoping to extract c. 85% of the free money fromAs I now have 9 bets pending, I'm going to step back and start again on Monday.

Happy Birthday Ed _party__party__party_A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
